Tanning

Axton chased me around in the ocean for a while as I enjoyed to water. It wasn't until I accidentally smacked into Joseph that he hauled me out of the water.
I pouted the whole time. He just kept his iron arm around my waist as he walked towards the shore. Esmerelda and Alicia had gotten out of the water but the other she wolves hadn't yet and were goofing around with their mates.
"You stay here. I will right back," Axton told me, giving me a salty kiss in the forehead and putting his hand on my hip briefly.
I stomped off like a child and laid down on my towel to tan. I didn't look good tan, it clashed with my hair but I don't enjoy being really pale. Plus the sunlight was warm and I could listen to music and forget about my stress.
I had only been relaxing for a few minutes when something blocked out the sun. I was warm and comfortable so I didn't open my eyes immediately until I started to get cold. I propped myself on my elbows and glared at the person at me feet. Axton.
"What did I tell you about staying put? I'm sure everybody has been staring at you," he murmured angrily. Okay, calming time even though it didn't matter if anybody looked at me. I stood up and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders and started to rub my back but his hands were cold so I jumped away. He looked very upset that I did that so I just grabbed one of his hands in between mine to show the temperature difference. "Oh, sorry."
After that he laid down next to me to tan. He was pale too but he could work it both ways. Everytime anybody even if they were an old man or a little boy of the male gender passed by he would put his arm over me.
"You ready to head back?" Esmerelda asked quietly. I hadn't realized how late it had gotten.
I nodded and stretched as Axton stared at me again. I huffed at him and put in the cover up making an exasperated gesture towards my self as to say "there, you happy now?"
"Thank you," he said as he put his arm around me again and kissed the top of my head. We all walked back to the hotel just as the sun started to set. I was very hungry and it seemed everybody else was too. I hope the vampires had brought blood with them but how would they have gotten it past airport security?
'Do you know if the vampires brought blood with them?' I was curious so I asked Marie and she fell back next to Axton and I.
'They didn't. We won't be here more than a week so they had their fill before we left and are just hoping it will last. Stupid decision in my opinion seeing that everytime you bleed they freeze.' She thought back to me with an eye roll.
I suddenly had a very disgusting thought. I typed it in on my phone and showed it to Axton.
"You know how y'all freak out whenever anybody bleeds?" He read out loud. He glanced at me longingly. "It's only this bad with you love, actually. But yes?" He said suspecting she had another thing.
I blushed the whole time as I wrote this next part. "What happens when a girl is on her- oh!" He paused mid sentence and mid stride. "Well, uh, it's er, got a different smell. Much easier to ignore," he was incredibly awkward and it was adorable. I nodded and I regretted asking it because he was really stiff and awkward for the rest of the walk.
When we got back we were the last ones and I wanted to talk to Marie. I started walking towards their door instead of ours and Axton turned to me confused. I told her I was coming so Marie opened the door and smiled at me. I pointed at her before randomly blowing Axton a kiss and walking into the room.
"Nice touch," Marie laughed as we sat down on her bed. I looked around and sniffed but Alicia wasn't there.
"Where's Alicia?" I asked as soon as I was sure we were alone.
"Visiting your friend I think," she said with a smile. "Anyways, what can I help you with dear?" She asked.
"I want to learn how to speak like and alpha. You sound so regal and important and powerful when you speak and I want that," I pleaded with her.
"Okay, it's not really that hard but thank you. I think." She laughed. "But let's get some food while we do it, I know you are hungry." I smiled gratefully at her as she went to the phone to order room service and I browsed the menu.
