Chapter 1: Kidnap Mission

Petey was in his jail cell, minding his own business when Big Jim rushed in and shouted "PETEY!!" This made the cat jump, and almost fall off his bed. "Woah.. calm down..." he muttered. "Sorry, but YOU'VE BEEN PARDONED!" He yelled again.
"What?" Petey asked. He didn't know what
pardoned meant.

"YOU'RE FREE!! FROM JAIL!! AND YOUR NOT COMING BACK!!" Big J squealed, giving the orange cat a tight hug. Petey couldn't believe this. He was free! He could live a proper life! "Wait.. really?"

Another cat walked in, and he came next to Big J. "Yup!" He wiped a small tear from his face. Meanwhile, on Petey's whisker, the FLEAS were planning something. Well, to be more accurate, PIGGY was planning something.

"I'm gonna hypnotise Petey into committing suicide!" Piggy planned, whilst rubbing his hands together.
"Wait... so killing himself?" Bub asked.
"Yup!" Piggy sniggered, his laugh getting louder. The three still had a while to go though, as they were still on the whisker.

"Yeah! Go on! Go to the guard!" Big J pushed him over.
"Er... I'm not sure if I.."
"Hey, Petey! It's been a pleasure to have you. But you well.. free now!" He sniffed. He got a tissue and blew his nose. "Have fun out there, Petey. Enjoy," he lead him outside.

On the way, the other cat came and gave him a hug. This cat's name was Darwin (my OC 😉😉). The problem is, the FLEAS were on the whisker on Petey, which soon moved to the whisker of Darwin. The three were hanging off. "W..what happened?" Ask Piggy, who was hanging onto Bub's tail.
"I...I think we switched cats!" Crunky replied.
"NOOOOOOOO!!!"

"Oh. Sorry. You aren't the guy for hugs, huh?" Darwin teased.
"Hmph. Yes," Petey rolled his eyes. Him and Darwin were good friends, so the weren't breaking up anytime soon. Just a little joke.

Eventually, they all got outside. "So I can do whatever I want and not get arrested?"
"Yeah.. well... nothing ILLEGAL... but yeah!" The guard replied.

The smile on Petey's face grew so wide it was almost off his face. "WOOHOO!!!" He screamed, running away. "LATER, SUCKAZ!!" He yelled back, running to his lab. "DON'T FORGET YOUR CRIME RECORD!!" The guard yelled back, but the cat was too far away to hear.

When he got there, he ordered any furniture possible. As his name had not yet been removed from the Jail List, all the money he spent was going to be paid from there. And it was at least 800 dollars / pounds.

His lab was all homely, but he wasn't gonna be on his own... Li'l Petey was gonna be there with him! Nothing can go wrong! Petey thought. Boy, was he wrong...

Back on Darwin's whisker, Piggy came up with a new plan. "Ok.. here is the plan.." he began.
"Oh no.." Bub whined.
"We're gonna go to this cat's ear, and hypnotise him to kidnap Petey! Then, we'll also hypnotise him to kill him!" Piggy thought for a moment. He didn't know if he wanted Petey to be dead or not. "Actually.. scratch that last part.. we're gonna hypnotise him to make Petey PRESUMED dead!" He explained, laughing. Crunky and Bub gave each other a worried look. Did they really want to do this?

Meanwhile, at Dog Man's house, Li'l Petey and 80-HD were making something. It was a translator for Dog Man, and it was going to stay with him. In his mouth.

"This will hopefully work!" Li'l Petey hoped. Dog Man walked out the kitchen, and towards them, with curiosity in his eyes. "D'ya wanna try it?" Li'l Petey asked. Dog Man nodded. "It's gonna be your translator, so we can understand what your saying! And hopefully it will sound like Officer Knight!" The kitten explained, as 80-HD fitted it in.

"Will this.. WOAH!! I CAN TALK!!" Dog Man exclaimed. He started jumping around all excited "I CAN TALK!! YOU CAN FINALLY UNDERSTAND ME!!" He gave Li'l Petey a big hug. "Your a genius!" He complimented.
"Yeah... just like my papa!" Li'l Petey smiled. Maybe he was a bit wiser, but his father was still a clever man. Or cat.

Speaking of the devil, Petey burst through the door "GUESS WHO JUST GOT-" but before he could finish his sentence, Dog Man leaped on him, thinking it was Chief. "LOOK! I CAN TA- Oh! Petey! I er.." Dog Man got off him, and whined a bit. "Oh GREAT! Since when could you TALK?!?" Petey complained. Li'l Petey rushed out, breaking the argument. "Papa! Papa! I gave him a translator so we could understand his words! Forever!!!" His clone explained.

Petey got himself up, and tried to clean the dog slobber from his face. "Now that's just great! Anyway, guess what?"
"What, papa?"
"I'm a free cat! I got pardoned!"
Li'l Petey's mood rose a bit. "Wait.. REALLY?! Like, your not in jail anymore?"
"Yup!"
"YAAY!!" The kitten hugged his dad tight.
"Annnd.. your coming to live with with me! We're gonna build cool robots.. and do stuff together... and bond more.." Petey explained, whilst standing up, and offering his hand.

But the kitten didn't take it. Instead, he stepped back a bit. This confused Petey "What's wrong?" He asked his son.
"H..he's gonna live with you? Like, stay away from us?" Dog Man whined again.
"Ugh.. yes! Look, I appreciate the help whilst I was in jail, but this is MY KID!! He needs to stay with me!" He picked up the kitten and lead him to the house. "C'mon!"

The FLEAS finally reached Darwin's ear. "Right.. step back! I need to concentrate!" Piggy ordered, whilst Crunky and Bub sat down where they were. "You aren't feeling sleepy.." he whispered into the ear. This made Darwin jump. "Wh...who said that?" He stammered, whilst looking around.
"It is me! Your brain! I am in your mind!" Piggy lied.
"W..what?!?" The cat questioned.
"You shall listen to every command, or else I will malfunction, and you. Will. DIE!!!" Piggy threatened.
Darwin was shaking with fear. He had no choice. If it was his brain, he would have to obey. And of course, Darwin thought it WAS his brain. So he had to obey Piggy.
"F..FINE!! Wh..what do you want?" He questioned the animal. Crunky and Bub were getting more worried than before. "I have a kidnapping mission for you..." Piggy laughed. The next two words made Darwin shake even more. But he had to. And he was going to.

Li'l Petey and Petey had finally reached their house, secretly followed by Dog Man and 80-HD. "Here we are! Now— it's getting late so you better go to bed," Petey told his son, as the two went upstairs. When the door slammed shut, Dog Man new this was the time to move. "Quick! Let's go!" The two rushed over to a nearby bush, and hid behind it. You could still see a part of 80-HD, but that wasn't his fault.

Nearby, all dressed in black (all though he already was a black cat; it was Winter though, and he has to stay warm) was Darwin. He held a rather big brown sack, which he planned to use for putting Petey inside. Just normal Petey, no rope or anything. Maybe I should have thought this through better.. he thought.

"GOOD NIGHT DOG MAN AND 80-HD!!" Li'l Petey screamed, as Petey mumbled 'FUCK' under his breathe. He stormed downstairs, to outside see none other than Dog Man and 80-HD. "WHAT'S THE FUCKING IDEA?!?" He screamed at them, then covered his mouth. "I mean.. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?" He corrected. Dog Man whined a bit. "I..I'm sorry.. I just.." he sighed.

"Quickly! Run past! Petey will notice you!" Piggy ordered. Darwin did as told, and quickly walked past. At first, Petey didn't recognise him, but then he saw his tail— it has a scar on it, which made it memorable, just like his (except it was flat). "Darwin?" He asked. The cat turned around, then panicked, and started to run away. "Darwin! WAIT!!" Petey called, running after him. Dog Man was confused, and ran after them too. "80-HD!! STAY BEHIND!! I'LL GO GET THEM!!" He called, and ran away even further.

The run was on.
