Dog Man: 🗡 Kidnapped 🔪

Chapter 2: Car Commotion

(What's this? Me updating twice on one story in one day? It can't be!)

Darwin came to a stop, as Petey was in the distance, and with Dog Man following behind. "They're on my trail! What do I do now?" Darwin asked. Piggy looked around, and next to him and the cat was an abandoned van. He could tell the doors were open as one wasn't shut properly, and the keys were still in. "Quick! Get Petey in the bag and get in the van!" He ordered. Petey stopped in front of them "D..Darwin! What a..are you do..doing?" The orange cat wheezed. Quick thinking, Darwin put his hand over Petey's mouth, and shoved him into the bag.

Dog Man was not far behind, and saw this all, and ran event faster; barking even louder. Darwin tied the bag tight (?), and opened the back door to the van, and yeeted Petey inside. He slammed it shut, and quickly got into the drivers seat, and started the engine. Dog Man was there, and the van started to move. He leaped to a short wall, out the way, and ran after it even further. "STOP!!!" He yelled.

A few minutes later, Dog Man was chasing the van which was rushing away on the road. He wasn't bothered about being run over: he was bothered about getting Petey back. But a sharp stitch hit him, and he began to slow down, and eventually stopped fully, letting his chin (along with his whole body) lay on the ground. "N..no!! Wa..wait!!" He gasped; he felt a burn in his heart, whilst the van drove away. Tears had flooded his vision.

BEEP!!! Went a car, as it screeched to a halt in front of Dog Man. "ARGH!!" He screamed, but luckily, the car was right in front of him, not hurting him at all; Although Dog Man was already hurt from falling on the tarmac and running.

It was a police car which was in front of him, and the policeman inside opened the door, with some mist of the warmness inside escaping to the colder environment blocking Dog Man's view of who it was. "Dog Man?" The stranger asked. He knew and recognised who the voice belonged to— CHIEF!! Dog Man thought. But he was in too much pain to dance on him.

"Dog Man! What are you doing laid down on the road in the middle of the night?" Chief asked the suffering man. He picked him up, then put him inside the car. "I..it's a long story! But we need to go after a van! Someone called Darwin kidnapped Petey!!" He quickly explained, whilst fastening himself in. "Wait WHAT?!? Darwin.. th..that's Petey's best friend! Why would he do that?" Chief questioned.
"I..I don't know! But we have to go after him before it's too late!" He explained.
"Ok— also since when could you talk?" Chief asked again, whilst getting the car started up and driving away.
"Li'l Petey gave me a translator.. Oh! L..Li'l Petey! What's he gonna s..say?" Dog Man whined.

Sooner or later, they were behind the van, and Darwin saw this in the mirror. "Shit! They're behind us.." He complained. Piggy saw this too. Crunky and Bub meanwhile were chatting about food and when they were gonna have they're next cake. Which they were hoping was gonna be soon.

"Stop it, idiots! Can't you see we're in the middle of kidnapping Petey?" He snapped. Crunky and Bub gave each other surprised looks "oh.. we're doing that? Oh I see... we're a bit behind, aren't we?" Bub asked his mate. Crunky nodded. "Idiots.. anyway! Drive faster so they get away from the back," Piggy explained.

Darwin put on some speed, forcing Petey at the back to bang against the wall leading to Darwin. The rope on the bag untied, letting Petey get out. He gasped for air, the exclaimed "PHEW!! Ok— where am I?!?" He looked around and it was pitch black for a human, but as he was a cat he has night vision. "I'm in a van?!? Darwin's trying to kidnap me?!? The traitor!! Anyway, I think the back door is loose.." he told himself, whilst crawling to the back door. He tried walking at first, but he felt like falling over any second, so he stuck to crawling.

"They're gaining speed! Quickly! Catch up!" Dog Man ordered, whilst he turned on the siren and Chief made the car go faster.
"How are we gonna get inside?" Chief asked.
"I'll get on the roof from the window leading to it; when we're close enough, I'll jump on; get inside and get Petey!" Dog Man planned. He undid his seat belt, and clambered to the window. "Er.. D..Dog Man.. are you su..sure this is gonna be a good idea?" Chief stammered, whilst Dog Man opened the window and let the cold air in, whilst he climbed out.
"I know what I'm doing! Trust me!" He persuaded, whilst closing the window.
"I..if your sure.." Chief gained more speed, but the van just gained more speed too, making quiet a big gap between the two vehicles.

"He ain't gonna make that.." Chief told himself, whilst gaining even more speed— but he couldn't do any more. He was on the limit for that road, but if he HAD too go faster, he would.

Dog Man was standing up at the top, letting the arctic air whizz past him, as the siren went on, driving him bonkers; he had to deal with it. He was gonna get Petey back, even if it was the last thing he would do.

Meanwhile, Petey had just managed to reach the door knob (?), and open the door. They both flung open, and he saw Chief and Dog Man.

Dog Man was so relived to see Petey, and he had to get him back. Chief saw the cat, and opened his window, wanting to tell Petey something. "PETEY!! GRAB THE TOP OF THE DOOR AND MOVE YOUR WAY CLOSER TO DOG MAN!!" He yelled. Petey looked at the fast-moving ground and gulped. If he messed up, he would die. So this was the matter of getting up or else he'd have to say bye the world.

He was a cat, which made it easier for him to get up, and... he made it. His fingers (?) were just clinging him onto the edge, as he stretched out his right arm to try connect it to Dog Man who was, at the edge of the roof, reaching for Petey.

Darwin and Piggy had seen this, and decided to get the button to slam the doors shut (if that exists). "Get the button quickly!!" Piggy demanded. Darwin followed his command, and pushed the button.

On the outside, Petey and Dog Man fell on the ground, both for different reasons. Chief just halted himself in front of Dog Man, once again, as the van had carried on moving along.

"Fuck!!" Darwin yelled. "We lost him!!"

"DOG MAN!!!" Chief yelled, getting out the car. He pulled the police man (?) up so he was leaning against the car. "ARE YOU OK?!? ARE YOU OK?!?" Chief repeated, as he felt tears roll down his cheek.

"DOG MAN!!"

"LISTEN TO ME!!"
