There's More To You Than You Let On

Chapter 4: Hogwarts

The next morning Draco and Hermione were woken up by Pansy and Astorias squeals. Their eyes opened to see them standing over them. "Come on Hermione! You have to tell us everything!" They said as they dragged her out of bed. "Did you sleep together?" "How'd it happen?" "Who made the first move?"

Hermione couldn't even get a word out as they pulled her out of the room. Draco laughed slightly before getting up and going to the bathroom. Hermione began to change as they sat on her bed. She didn't feel weird about changing in front of them because she was used to changing in front of other girls in the dormitories at Hogwarts.

"So what happened?" They asked.

"Nothing," Hermione lied before going red in the cheeks. "He let me sleep with him so I wouldn't have a bad dream."

"So you admit you slept with him!?" Astoria asked. Hermione rolled her eyes.

"I slept next to him," She huffed.

"Looked more on top of him if you ask me," Astoria muttered.

"And nothing happened after that?" Pansy asked unconvinced.

Hermione didn't say anything and just blushed. "Something did happen!" They both shouted.

"I'm not answering anymore questions," Hermione said while walking out of the room to the bathroom. Draco was already in there and brushing his teeth. She smiled at him and began to brush her own teeth. After he finished he waited for her to be done so that he could talk to her.

"What are they asking you?" He smirked.

"They're asking me a bunch of questions about what happened."

"What'd you say?"

"I said nothing happened."

"Why'd you lie?"

"I didn't lie, nothing really happened."

"Really? You call his nothing?" He hummed as he pulled her closer and placed his lips on hers. She smiled into the kiss and held the back of his neck with one hand and held his face with the other. His arms were wrapped around her waist as they snogged. They pulled apart when they heard a squeal. Standing outside the door was Pansy with a wide smile on her face. "Astoria! Come here!" She called.

Astoria ran over and saw them holding each other the way they were and began to squeal too. "Something did happen!"

"You bet your bloody ass it did," Draco smirked and tried to lean back in, but Hermione rolled her eyes.

"Oh shut it," She said gently pushing him away. She pushed them out of the bathroom so that she could get ready. Once she finished they brought their trunks downstairs before eating their last breakfast with Narcissa. At 10:30 they started to make their way to Kings Cross Station.

They ran through the wall between platforms 9 and 10 to get to platform 9 3/4. Hermione Draco Pansy and Astoria met up with Blaise and Theo before getting on the train. Before they boarded Narcissa pulled Draco aside to speak to him.

"Now Draco, Hermione is a very lovely girl but you must focus on your studies. Don't get distracted by her," She spoke.

"Mother, please. Do you not remember anything about when I used to talk about her? I think I'll do better in school with her around," Draco responded to her. She smile and hugged him goodbye.

"Goodbye, Draco."

"Bye, mum."

He ran over to the others and got on the train. As they were walking to their usual seats they walked past the compartment Hermione's old friends sat. She paused as she looked at them, her smile falling from her face when her eyes met Ron's. He was glaring at her with nothing but hatred. She glanced at Harry and Ginny and they gave her a slight smile which she returned.
