At breakfast Draco and Hermione refused to tell their friends about the night before no matter how much they fused about it. They sat with smirks on their faces as they ate, with Draco's hand on Hermione's thigh under the table. "Pleeeaaassseee, Hermmmionnneeee!" Ginny whined. "I'm your best friend!" Hermione was about to reply when owls flew in from the windows and swooped down to drop off mail.
A Daily Prophet was dropped in front of Hermione. "I didn't order this," She mumbled as she opened it before rolling her eyes when she saw the front cover. "My goodness, did that stupid Rita Skeeter women not die in the war?" Everyone was a little taken aback about what she said.
"What's it say?" Draco asked. Hermione read it aloud.
Golden Trio breaks up!
The famous Golden Trio, including Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley, and Hermione Granger, were caught fighting yesterday on the school trip to Hogsmeade. The fight seemed to be about Hermione Granger's new relationship with former Death Eater, Draco Malfoy. The two were also seen together in Diagon Alley a few weeks prior. Hermione was seen wearing a beautiful green ring supporting her ring finger, which we know as the Malfoy Promise Ring. It is given to the lucky lady the Malfoy man wishes to someday marry. They've also been seen kissing in a muggle photograph taken of them.

When asked about their former friend's relationship, Harry and Ron seemed convinced Malfoy has her under a love potion. Many others don't believe this however, for example, student, Parvati Patil, says,"I've never seen either of them as happy as they are now. No love potion is that strong. What they feel for each other is as real as it gets. Love like that... that lasts forever." And when asked why she thinks they'd last she responded, "the both have been alone for too long, now they have someone who loves them and protects them, you don't let go of a love like that."

"Well, she's not wrong," Draco said.
"Yeah, but I don't like being wrote about in the paper," Hermione huffed as she through down the Daily Prophet on the table. "What if she writes something fake tomorrow."
"Oh calm down. It's not that bad," Ginny spoke.
"Oh yeah? Well what if she starts writing about you and Harry's breakup?" Hermione snapped.
"Shut it," Ginny snapped back at the mention of it. Tears welled in her eyes.
"Right... sorry," Hermione said sincerely. Ginny took a deep breath and blinked away the tears as Pansy rubbed her back.
Everyone knew Ginny still loved Harry and was still heartbroken about their breakup no matter how much she laughed or smiled. Every time someone mentioned his name she tensed up and kept quiet. Around her it was like he was Voldemort and you weren't supposed to say his name.
