There's More To You Than You Let On

Chapter 17: Back to Hogwarts

The holidays were officially over. In Hermione's opinion, they were too short. All she could remember was Christmas and Christmas Eve, now she was on the train back to Hogwarts with Draco and Ginny. They were sitting in a compartment in a peaceful silence the whole way back.

When they arrived at school they were greeted by their friends, Pansy, Astoria, Blaise, and Theo. The four people they had missed so much. "Hey guys!" They all exclaimed as they hugged.

"How was break at Hogwarts?" Hermione asked on the carriage ride back to said school.

"It was sooooo boring!" Pansy and Astoria exclaimed.

"Hey!" The boys scoffed.

"Don't 'hey' us. You two were the ones who only wanted to eat and sleep!" Pansy argued.

"It's not our fault we get tired after we eat!" Theo said.

"And it's not our fault that we get hungry after we sleep!" Blaise added.

"All you did was eat and sleep! I'm surprised you two aren't fat! You wake up and eat breakfast then come to the common room and nap!" Astoria said

"Then you wake up and go down to the kitchens for a snack then come back and nap again!" Pansy exclaimed.

"Then wake up and eat lunch then come back and nap again!"

"Then dinner and then you go to bed! Just to do it all again in the morning!"

"You even missed Christmas."

"Wow," Ginny, Hermione, and Draco said.

"You're so lazy," Draco said.

"Oh yeah? And what did you do?" Blaise snapped.

"I spent time with my mother, my pregnant girlfriend, and Ginny," Draco spoke matter-of-factly. "I had a hex battle with weasel on Christmas Eve and went on dates with Hermione through out the holidays. I ate only when it was meal time and I slept only at night unless Hermione wanted to nap-" he was about to continue but he was cut off.

"Wait.. did you just say 'pregnant girlfriend'?" Pansy asked. Hermione's cheeks flushed.

"Yes,..." Draco trailed and looked down at Hermione to see her embarrassed. "Sorry." She shook her head saying it was fine. Astoria and Pansy started to squeal.

"OMG! Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger having a child! Who would have thought?! Your child is going to be so popular! You're both attractive and smart! Merlin! That kid's going to be a handful," Pansy said.

"Congratulations," Blaise and Theo said.

"Thank you," Draco and Hermione said in unison.

"We need to throw you a baby shower!" Astoria suggested.

"Yes!" Ginny and Pansy agreed.

"Later," Hermione laughed. "I'm tired." It was late now due to the train ride taking up most of the day. Draco and Hermione made their way back up to the common room and immediately went to bed.

The next morning was the start of classes again. Hermione was in the middle of getting ready when her morning sickness kicked in. Draco walked into the bathroom to see her vomiting in the toilet. He quickly went to her and held her hair back. "You should go,..." she started before throwing up again. "You'll be late for class.."

"I don't care," He said. "You are my number one priority." She tried to smile but only threw up again. It was 15 minutes later and classes started 5 minutes ago. Hermione had finished and flushed the toilet.
