Damian heard a knock on his door, early in the morning. The sun only started to rise and the birds chirped on happily as if nothing bad would ever happen.

Damian called out to the werewolves guarding his home. Yet no one opened the door. Eventually the knocking stopped.

He could only hear something hard dropping on the floor above him. Damian could only fear the worse.

He heard the basement door opening slowly. There was no sound. In the far shadows of the basement he could see a girl with golden hair and a beautiful feminine figure walking closer to his cell.

"Stella?" He asked as he squinted his eyes.

"What happened to you?" The woman asked. She walked into the sunlight that shine through the small window in the ceiling above.

Damian smiled and the fear vanished. "You didn't hurt the pretty girl that freed you, did you?" He asked.

"When I awoke, she was already being rescued since the cave was shaking in my wake."

"Lilith, you are welcome to do as you please. My home is your home. Open this cell please, we have lots to do." Damian said.

"Yes, sire." Lilith said as she pulled the chains apart that held the cell gates closed.

"No burn? Good. Now I know I left you at our wedding, but I had things to attend to." Damian said, rubbing his hands as a free man.

"It is in the past. I don't morn long. We may be ex-lovers but we are also friends now." Lilith said.

"You need to bring the great werewolf, Robert back to life."

Lilith smiled knowing that Damian had something devous planned. They walked upstairs, exiting the basement, where the bodyguards lifeless bodies lay.

It was lunch at school, Heather was sitting with Christopher in the cafeteria.

She was furious at the world and mostly herself for being so stupid to listen to Damian.

Dylan joined them, sitting opposite Heather. It was quiet at the table. The rest of the cafeteria was blasting with noise in every corner.

The silence became obvious that Heather was still very mad at Dylan, especially after she told Dylan to give her space.

Dylan was also mad at Heather for preferring to speak to Christopher only. Dylan got up and left the table.

Heather looked at her hand under the table after feeling a burning sensation. The thorn cuts were thin and red.

"Do you smell blood?" Christopher asked. Heather looked at him quickly and put her hand further down.

"Nope."

Christopher leaned in closer to Heather. "Can I tell you something about Jerome?" He asked.

Before Heather could answer, she felt a hand touch her shoulder. She looked up and saw Damian. "Why are teenagers always so secretive?" Damian asked.

Heather wanted to gasp but she didn't. She felt even worse than before. Heather let him out of his imprisonment by following his plan.

Heather only wanted to beat the life out of Damian, but the sound of the students in the background reminded her that she couldn't do anything to Damian.

"Heather, so naive. My plan is only beginning." Damian disappeared in the blink of the eye, using his vampire speed.

"They need to increase security in this school." Christopher said.

"Yeah. Wait here." Heather got up and took her phone out of her jean pocket. She stood in a corner. She was calling Stella.

"Stella?" Heather asked when the phone beeped.

"Yes, Heather." Stella answered. She coughed roughly. Heather smiled when Stella answered after the fight they had the night before.

"I need to leave school. I did something."

"Okay, I'm coming to get you." Stella hung up.

She and Heather arrived at their house. They were quiet throughout the entire drive.

Heather rushed to her room, she wanted to close her room door but Stella blocked the door with her foot.

"You said that you did something wrong. I wanna know." Stella said.

Heather rolled her eyes before letting her sister in. She closed the door and the she proceeded to lean against the door.

"I'm a hypocrite. I tell you to not listen to Damian, when I did the opposite.

"English please. I don't understand." Stella coughed. Heather looked Stella. She noticed how sick Stella looked.

Her eyes were droopy and red. She had dark bags under her eyes and her face was pale.

"I awoke someone sleeping in the mountains. She let Damian out of his cage. He visited me at school to brag." Heather explained.

Stella didn't say anything. She couldn't say anything. Stella realised that she was a terrible sister.

It was difficult to speak. Heather also kept quiet. She could see that Stella was thinking.

Lilith and Damian was at Roberts grave in the cemetery.

"Three red candles, a locket from Synthia, my blood on the soil." Lilith said as she put the items in place and dropped her blood on the soil from a small vile.

"Are you sure you know what you're doing?" Damian asked.

"Hush. Do you have the dead werewolf to take Roberts place?"

Damian stood aside to show the black body bag. He picked it up and placed it aside the gravestone. As the crescent moon light shine upon the grave, hands reached through the soil and grass.

Damian and Liltih helped Robert to the mansion, where they bathed him and dressed him in Damian's century old attire. He hasn't said a word since he was awoken in his grave. He hadn't had enough time to himself to think.

They were dining in the dining room, surrounded by gold objects and candles to help Robert adapt to what he grew up with.

"Where's my love, Synthia? She's a vampire, she'd love forever. She must be missing me dearly." Robert finally said. He couldn't eat anything without Synthia at his side.

Lilith and Damian looked at each other with a smirk. "She was killed unfortunately by your werewolf pack, previously known as The Red Night pack. Now known as The Night Blood pack." Lilith said.

"No, they knew how much I loved her. Synthia was my love, my night and day. She can't be dead." Robert started sobbing. "Where are they?"

"Robert, you've been dead for at least a hundred years or so. The current leader, is the great grandson of your omega. Before you kill him, kill his daughter. She's a lycan." Damian said.

He knew that Josh would become alpha if Damian was caught in the caves. Damian's plan was finally coming together. Heather's heart was the only one that could activate the owl's true power.

Robert left the house. He wanted to see the modern world, a whole he so wished he could've shared with Synthia.

"Couldn't you kill Heather at the cave?" Lilith whispered, in case Robert or anyone else was listening.

"Heather needs a broken heart. She has the mark, a curse placed upon lovers. If we use the power of the curse don't you think the owl will have more of an effect?"

"I see."

"That's why Dylan needs to die." Damian grinned.

"Don't worry about him. Let's sleep tonight and tomorrow I'd have Dylan's head."
