Heather was pacing, thinking about what Stella would do with the information she gathered the day earlier. She replayed it, seeing Stella's face. She looked so disappointed and mad. If only Stella was a good sister.

Stella drove to Damian's mansion, to see him in his improvised prison. Damian had a mini prison built in his basement. It had three cells next to each other. He was kept in the middle cell. The place was dark and dirty but it was livable.

Stella needed Damian's advice. She felt closest to him, him being a hybrid and she had no werewolf abilities, even though she was born into a werewolf bloodline.

She walked down the basement stairs slowly, which only made Damian feel excited and curious to see who visited him this time.

"Damian?" Stella asked as she entered into the light, provided by a small window that sits in the middle of the roof.

"Stella? Why am I not surprised? You weren't treated fairly by your family. What can I help you with?" Damian was a mess, he had a growing beard, stinking breath, messy hair and his eyes were droopy.

"What makes you think I came for advice?"

"I know you better than anyone, dear," Damian said. He wanted to know what was bothering Stella so much that she was desperate enough to seek Damian for help.

"A crime." Stella looked to the ground, she couldn't look Damian in the eye, she would have felt too much guilt. "I know a werewolf and a vampire and they're seeing each other, but I won't say who. I care for the werewolf too much."

Damian smiled when he heard this. Of course, he knew that she was referring to Heather and Dylan. A lightbulb switched on in his head, he had the perfect plan.

"You have not found your wolf mate, you never shifted before, so, I'll offer you a deal, do what I ask and I will turn you into whatever you want since your own family won't do it."

Stella looked up, she was interested in hearing what Damian had to offer. "Yes?"

Damian clapped his hands and shrieked softly in excitement. "You have to report to me whenever something very interesting happens."

"Seems, fairly easy. Now when will you turn me?"

"It has to happen slowly. I have you give you my blood here and there. If I were to give you large amounts it might kill you. Your body must get used to hybrid blood."

"I want to be a werewolf, it only requires a bite."

"Yes, dont worry I know what I'm doing. One more favour before you leave, bring me, Heather." He asked.

"My sister? Why?"

"Id like to apologise for everything, you know the kidnapping and breaking her leg and using her." Damian wanted to see how loyal Stella was. He wanted to see if she would still be desperate for his help, even though he did those things to Heather.

Stella nodded and decided to leave before Damian's words of persuasion got to her. She drove back home later in the evening, around the time Heather got home from school.

Stella knocked on Heather's room door lightly and gently. She waited for Heather to open the door. She knocked again. When Heather finally opened, she nearly died seeing Stella.

"Yes?" Her heart was racing, she wanted to know what Stella was going to say about her relationship with Dylan.

"Can I come in?" Stella asked with a gentle and innocent tone.

Heather opened the door further and made way for Stella to walk inside. "I visited Damian," Stella said as soon as Heather closed the door again.

"Are you an idiot or something? It's Damian, are you asking for a death wish?" Heather forgot that Stella knew about her forbidden relationship. She was triggered, hearing Damian's name.

"Calm down, or you'll end up ripping that pretty dress you're wearing. He's not that bad."

"You do know what he did, right? Tell me that you know why he is in jail as we speak."

"Just go and see him. He wants to apologise to you."

Heather calmed down and rolled her neck around. She then craked her fingers one by one. She took a deep breath in and then she exhaled. "Tomorrow, before school starts. Just stay away from him, please."

Heather did what she was told the next day, she went to Damian's mansion. Stella was kind enough to drop her off. Heather hated the place. She walked to the basement from the door outside to avoid all those stairs inside the mansion. She opened the doors and walked down at a rapid pace.

Damian smiled when he heard Heather's footsteps. "You came. I missed you so much." He said.

"Really? That was the perfect apology, bye now." Heather turned around but Damian stopped her.

"No, wait I need to tell you something very important." Heather looked at Damian with a frown.

"Not in the mood. Find someone that finds you amusing." She said. Damian ignored her because he knew she would listen anyway.

"You know the story of Lilith. She's evil and all. Well, she exists, sleeping in the mountains. Now you see, there's a reason I hadn't told anyone about you and Dylan." He said.

Heather looked at him with a neutral expression. She was interested to hear what he had to say. Damian used people to get what he wanted and he always got away with it.

"I dont believe you. Why dont you just try to commit another crime? Id love to see you try and fail at that one too."

"I know how to make you and Dylan be together forever, while in your present form. I will also ensure that your secret stays a secret."

"What, do want me to free you?" Heather didn't know what to think, but it helped her situation with Dylan. He wanted to be with Heather forever, but she didn't want to be a vampire to fulfil Dylan's needs.

"Stop being so ignorant. How about this? I gave Stella my blood late last night while you were tucked in bed. My blood might kell her, who knows I've never changed anyone before. But I can cure her if you just obey."

Damian was sly and cunning. He knew exactly what he was doing and he enjoyed it.

"Fine." She answered.

"My office, it' s all there under the name, My Plans With Heather. See, I trust you enough to go through that file, just don't tell anyone about this chat."

"You're a weirdo." She said, annoyed at Damian. Then again, who can blame her?

"You have to find Lilith in the mountains and dont forget to tell her 'And he shall rise again.'"

Heather foolishly agreed. She knew that she couldn't tell Dylan anything about it. He would have a heart attack if he ever found out why she agreed.

Heather loved Dylan but she was worried that the mark was changing him, making him more protective and obsessed with Heather. She was doing it all for love.
