Internationally acclaimed director Luis Mercedes has confirmed his first local movie after a year-long hiatus!
"I wanted to soak up my win," Mercedes said with a laugh. "Now I'm ready and inspired more than ever."
Though not aiming to win another award, Mercedes claims that he just wants to enjoy filmmaking again.
Confirmed leading cast for his film "Half Alive" (working title) includes HIT breakthrough artists Third Arcanghel and Arianne Price.
"They are pretty much newbies," Mercedes admits, when asked if he's worried to be working with such young people. "But they have so much talent and potential, and that's enough for me. I'm willing to work on that."
"Besides, I don't think I'm the only worried one," he adds. "This may be my comeback movie, but this is their debut on the silver screen."
What can we expect from the movie? Mercedes jested. "You'll just have to wait and see."
