i woke up with my face buried in jeongyeon's neck. our legs were intertwined beneath the blankets, her arms were around my body, her chin was resting on top of my head. a smile found its way on my lips. i couldn't ask for a better morning. i breathed in her scent before slowly turning around in her embrace and reached for my phone.
when i saw the time, i was about to bolt out of the bed and wake jeongyeon up to remind her about her flight. but before i could even remember that she missed her flight on purpose or attempt to go through with my action, the arms around my body tightened and pulled me closer to their owner.
"let's stay like this for a little bit longer." she said with a raspy voice, nuzzling her nose behind my ear. i would've found it hot as fuck if my brain could process any other feeling than happiness. i turned back to her and returned to our original position.
"jeong?" i whispered after a while.
"hmm?"
"did you mean it?"
"mean what?"
"that you like me? and that you're willing to do lots of things for me?"
she opened her eyes and looked down at me. i raised my head to look into her eyes. "no. i didn't mean it." i looked back down with burning eyes but she grabbed my chin and made me look back up. "i love you and i'm willing to do anything for you."
i swear to god my heart beat skyrocketed. "you love me?"
she nodded and sat up, leaning on her elbow. "i do. i doubted it for a while but i was sure after last night."
"i've never said it this early in a relationship but i think i love you too."
"you think?"
"no, scratch that, i know that i love you."
her reply was a smile and a kiss. i couldn't help but smile into the kiss. my brain was basically short circuiting from all the dopamine it was releasing. can this morning get any better?
"how much time do we have before sana barges in our room?" i asked when we pulled away, out of breath.
"twenty minutes or so. why?"
"quick, cuddle me." i said pushing her back down. she laughed until i snuggled into her side.
we just enjoyed each other's company and shared kisses from time to time until sana barged into our room, yelling at jeongyeon for missing her flight.
