"do you really have to go?"

jeongyeon turned to look at me with a sigh escaping her lips. "momo, i want to stay, i really do. but i have to go back. i missed so many classes already."

i couldn't help the whine escaping my lips. "i know. sorry for being so clingy."

"i love it when you are clingy." we smiled at each other. our eyes met and we just stood there, staring into each other's eyes. our moment was interrupted by sana.

"disgusting." she said. "go do that somewhere else."

"you're just saying that because you're single." jeongyeon said with a scowl on her face. "why don't you just confess to dahyun already?"

"because i don't like dahyun??"

"bullshit."

"fuck you, jeong." with that, sana went to mina and left us alone.

i watched their exchange in amusement. jeongyeon noticed it. "what?"

"nothing. it's just you really know how to push sana's buttons."

"i mastered it while trying to find her mute button."

i giggled before wrapping my arms around her neck. her arms wrapped themselves around my waist on instinct. "i'm going to miss you."

"i'm going to miss you too, princess."

"call me when you land?"

"will do." she leaned in for a quick kiss. "take care of yourself, okay?"

"okay." i said and pulled her in for a deeper, more passionate kiss. if sana didn't come and interrupted us again, we probably would have stood there and continued kissing, making jeongyeon miss her flight again in the process. we reluctantly let go of each other with sad smiles.

jeongyeon said her goodbyes to sana and mina and squeezed my hand for the last time.

we waved at each other until we couldn't see each other any more.

i turned to face my friends, already sobbing.

"oh, moguri." mina said pulling me in for a hug. "please don't cry."

sana joined the hug. "yeah, this isn't the last time we'll see her." her voice came out broken.

mina stopped rubbing my back for a moment. "sana," she started. "are you crying too?"

"...no." a sob escaped sana. "okay, yeah, i'm crying too. i hate seeing people go."

we exchanged a look with sana, both of us crying. after a moment of staring at each other we pulled each other in for a hug and started wailing loudly.

mina sighed. "pull yourselves together, we're in public." she scolded us. "you can continue sobbing once we get home."

sana immediately sobered up and let go of me, wiping her tears. i wasn't able to do that though. i just kept on weeping until mina dropped me off to my house.

after that, i sobbed until i eventually fell asleep.
