I've been texting Josh for about a week now and I just made time for us to skype. I had so much homework that I barely had time to even breathe; there was always a stack of books waiting for me at home. Yay me...

Yes, I just called him Joshy. He said he liked it when I called him that so, eh. He hadn't come up with a nickname for me. Yet... Hey, I haven't talked to Josh for long, but I already know he's gonna give me some random, annoying nickname. Can't my nickname be love so I can hear him say it in that wonderful accent of his all day?

I was fixing my hair a little before my skype date with Josh when my brother Francisco came in. "What the hell are you so... like that for?"

"I'm about to skype with Josh so get out of my room!" Like the douche he is, he layed down on my bed and started to text his friends. Well, at least I think it was his friends...

My laptop started to ring and I ran to it, doing some last minute fixing of my hair. I pressed the Answer button and saw my screen change from a picture of the boys to Josh with a huge smile on his face.

"Em? Is that you?" I panicked and tried to kick my brother out of my room. I actually succeeded this time, but he didn't leave right away.

Francisco stared into the webcam and said, "Hey girl hey! OMG look Em it's that one guy you say is so hot and dreamy!" Can you say embarrassing?

Apparently, it made Josh laugh, so I just played along and laughed my 'awkward moment' laugh. At least I heard Josh laugh for the first time (that wasn't through some random video on YouTube).

"You can leave now, idiot!" Francisco slapped me and ran to the living room. He's so mature for his age. Did I mention he's 30?

"Sorry about that. My brother can be... annoying."

"It's alright, love. So before we start chatting, I wanted to tell you something."

My heart jumped. Oh no, what if he didn't like me? What if I was too much of a potato to be seen with him? I panicked in my mind, thinking of anything and everything wrong with me. "W-What is it?"

"Well, the boys are going to Los Angeles this week on vacation and I told them about you." Awww, he told the boys about me? "They said I could go, too, so we can meet in person." His face lit up with that wonderful smile of his. Is it bad that I was getting feels like right in front of him? Ugh, why does he do this to me?! I had to calm down. I didn't want to fangirl in front of him. But...

"OMG really?!?! AHHH! OMG we can finally meet!" Way to play it cool. "Umm I mean, I can't wait for you to come Joshy." He laughed; I guess my fangirling didn't really annoy him much, but it did annoy my brother.

"Emily, shut the hell up! I'm trying to watch a movie!" I threw my pillow at his face and told him to get out. Ugh, my brother WANTS me to be forever alone, doesn't he?

"I'm so sorry. I promise he'll be far, far away when you come."

Josh laughed. "Don't worry, I hang out with the boys like 24/7 so I'm used to it."

I smiled, but I gave him an 'I'm sorry for these embarrassing moments' face. "Try living with this jerk." We laughed and got back to chatting. Josh was really fun to talk to; our conversation never died or had those awkward moments. This was the first time I had a real nonstop conversation with someone. We were having so much fun I didn't realize it was late for him. Damn time zones.

"Joshy, it's getting kinda late over there, isn't it? I don't want to be the reason you don't get enough sleep."

"It is, but I'd rather just chat with you all night." Awww... why does he make my heart melt so easily? Why Devine, why do you do this to me?

"You're so sweet, but you should be going to sleep! Don't you guys have a gig tomorrow?"

"Not until the afternoon."

"I still want you to get enough sleep! So goodnight Joshy. I'll be waiting here for you next week."

"Have a wonderful day love. Don't forget about me." He just had to wink and make me go all crazy again...

"No promises, Devine! Have fun tomorrow. Love you."

He laughed. "Love you too, Em." He clicked on the End Call button and what was left on my screen was his wonderful smile. I had to take a screenshot and send it to Marilyn!... Or maybe just save it on my laptop.

I looked at the clock. It was 5 sharp, and I still had homework. Ugh, better get to it...

At least I got to spend most of my Sunday chatting with Josh. Nothing, not even homework, was going to ruin my week. Absolutely nothing.
