Moving Out?

I had been staying with Josh about two weeks now, and tomorrow was our two-monthaversary.

Tomorrow was also my first appointment with the doctor ever since I found out that I was pregnant.

But today, today was my first day of being home schooled by Rachel. Can you say boring?

The sound of 'Heart Attack' woke me up at four. It was my mom calling.

"Hello?" Ew, my voice sounded so weird there. I cleared my throat. "What's going on, Mom?"

"Good morning, sweety. Rachel is going to be here at nine, so I need you to be home by then. Think you could do that?"

I looked around the room and saw Josh was turning around in bed. I left the room to make sure he didn't wake up. We had a long night.

It's not what you're thinking.

I thought for a minute. "I guess so. Are you and Dad going to be there too?"

"Of course. Why? Is something wrong?"

"No, I just miss you guys, and I really wanna see you."

I really wanted to talk to them, too. I hadn't told them that Josh bought a house for us, and honestly, I'm afraid to even mention it.

My mom had been talking for like five minutes already and I couldn't even get one word in. I had to keep saying 'Okay Mom' until she stopped. "Mom, I'm going to start getting ready, so I'll talk to you when I get home." Finally she stopped talking and hung up.

I let out a sigh as I walked up the stairs. Why was I being punished by waking up this early?

"Find the real roots... explain... your answer?" I was falling asleep while Rachel was giving me a Pre-Calc lesson.

Ah, just like school...

I worked on the problem she had told me to do and handed her my paper when I was done. She went through everything like ten times. "Good job. Now on to the next one."

"Can we please take a break? It already 1." I let out a groan and put my head down.

"Alright, 15 minute break." Yes! "Then we start on science." NO!

"Okay..." I got up and grabbed two water bottles, one for me and another for Rachel. "So, Mrs. Collins, can you tell me a little more about yourself?"

"Well, first of all, call me Rachel. What do you want to know?"

"Okay, Rachel." I thought about what to ask for a moment. "What was it like where you grew up?"

"New York is amazing, especially when you're a kid. There are so many places to go, so many people to see. I was never bored. Well, until I moved to Los Angeles." She let out a long sigh.

"Why did you move? I would've begged to stay there!"

She laughed a bit. "I got the job as a tutor for the kids on America's Got Talent, and I couldn't turn it down. My daughter loves that show. She practically begged me to take the job!"

"You have a daughter? Can you tell me more about her?" I actually did want to know more about her. I mean come on, I'm going to see her 5 days a week for 8 hours. We gotta get to know each other.

"Well, she's actually your age! And she goes to where you went to school."

"What's her name? I might just know her."

"Mand- I mean, Britney."

No. Mother. Fucking. Way.

No no no no no no no.
