Chapter 7

-Melissa's POV-
After I arrived at school, I went and sat and talked to one of my friends Sarah. James finally came and I walked with him to his locker. "thank you for the last couple of days James" I said to him giving me a peck on the cheek.
He slightly blushed and had the biggest smile on his face. Then his ex came.
That's all I needed.
"What the fuck are you doing with that slutty bitch?" She said asked genuinely shocked. "Don't come running to me when the slutty bitch leaves you ok?"
"Don't you dare!" He hissed as she smirked and walked away.
"I'm so sorry about Emma, she's just bitching off because she's jealous that I have a beautiful angel and she doesn't".

-James's POV-
I was so tired of Emma, just because we weren't together didn't mean she needed to ruin everyone else's love. She was a mistake. A big one. The worst.
The end of the day came and I caught Melissa. I walked a bit faster and caught up with her.
"Hey you ok getting home gorgeous?" I asked her.
"Awh yes thank you, I have plans with a special boy we are going out for tea" she winked.
"Oh....See you then" I said feeling a bit disappointed. She quickly walked away looking pleased with herself.
I jumped on the bus and thought about that 'special boy' Melissa had said she had plans with. It made me feel confused, was it a guy she was in love with? I felt kind of down and only realised it when my parents asked if I was ok. I said yes but I just wanted to bury my head in my arms and cry forever.
