Chapter 21

-Melissa's POV-
He drove us back to mine. "oh my god" he said with the biggest shock on his face. James helped me inside and sat me down. He had a cup of tea and left. "Baby I love you" James said whilst hugging me. We hugged for about 5 minutes because his mum had been around the room at least 9 times.

"I feel like a waste of space James" I whispered as a tear went rolling down my face. He quickly wiped it away. "Your anything but a waste of space, your amazing and look your even letting us stay with you and you've paid for our house to be rebuilt and your getting all your casts of tomorrow baby girl" he said and kissed me on the cheek. I smiled. "Your the best guy in the whole world James" I giggled.

-James's POV-
I put her to bed and then came downstairs. Dad and the boys where paintballing and Abi was at her friends so it was just me and mum. "James I'm so happy for you" she said getting emotional. I told her I knew and we hugged for some time. "I have some really bad news but I don't know whether I can tell you or not," she said.

My heart started beating as I agreed to knowing. "I..i...ive not told anyone but.... i...i...i have cancer". I fell on the sofa in shock. How? My mum! Cancer?! Why?

I was the first to know?! Why are these problems happening with us? We've had the most suffering problems ever! I couldn't produce a tear I was just speechless. I couldn't deal with it right now. I hugged her very tight and and gave her a kiss on the cheek. I went up Melissa's posh stairs and went into her bedroom, she was sleeping so I crawled up next to her hugged her right against me. I fell asleep soon after.
