My awfully Perfect Life

Chapter 9

-Melissa's POV-
I led them outside feeling excited. There was a black limo awaiting for them. It was sleek and shiny.

As I led them all in and got in myself I said "I've invited my parents because I guess you'd like to see my family" I said. They all looked so happy "awh Melissa that is so sweet of you" said Abi.

-Stevens POV (James dad)-
Oh my, I have a perfect family, the most gorgeous wife and stunning children. Melissa was wonderful, I was so happy that James had chosen Melissa. As we arrived, Melissa opened all our doors and we thanked her. The restaurant was enormous and stunning. by far the best restaurant I've ever seen!

We found Melissa's parents and sister and sat with them. Her mum looked constantly angry and her stepdad looked bored. Her sister was just snogging her boyfriends face off.

-Melissa's POV-
"Mum,dad,you two, this is my boyfriend James, his mum Amanda, his dad Steven, his sister Abi and his 2 brothers, Ethan and Ross. They all said hi to each other and then we finally got settled. "So Melissa why did you run away when you where 16" mum snickered. How dare she, she knew very well she abandoned me but she just wanted to make me seem like the baddie.

"Mum, you abandoned me remember" I replied trying to keep calm. Then, in perfect timing, our menus came.

James stroked my back to comfort me. When we had all chosen, the waitress came and took our order. My parents went for chicken with mushroom sauce and veg. Yuk. I'm not a meat lover and I hate mushrooms. My sister (Amelia) and her boyfriend (Jordan) both chose a seafood selection. Again yuk! Amanda and Steven chose a roast along with the 2 boys (Ethan and Ross). James chose a tomato and basil pizza.

-James's POV-
Finally, Melissa chose a pasta bake with tomato. After a few minutes, our drinks came. Me and Melissa had champagne. And the rest of them had juice expect Melissa's mum, she had vodka which I don't think was too good for her. Her mum then began again "So Melissa, you two fucked yet?" She said sniggering. Melissa put her head down feeling annoyed. What the hell was this woman's problem?

"Oh yeah, your not good enough for anyone" she started laughing. Ethan beamed "look lady, she's your daughter have some respect for the people you love".
"Keep out" she replied and then glared at my girl.

Our food came just in time once again. We all tucked in. Melissa was just fiddling with it instead. "Eat your dinner" her step-dad said, "you where alway like this, never liked anything did you? Just messed with us" he shouted getting really irritated.

"Oi, you two have the nerve to say anything bad about Melissa? You two are pathetic, you tried to kill your own daughter, you two don't even deserve her. I can't believe you love your other one more. I have 4 children and a husband to love at the same time and I manage and you only have 2 to please" my mum butted in rage.

-Amelia's POV (Melissa's sister)-
What the heck is Melissa. She's ugly as fuck and horrid. She looks like the size of Africa and her face makes me sick. Her boyfriends hot as fuck but am I gonna compliment her in that? Fuck no! "Melissa you need to get a life and not with that ugly fat pork"

Then James's brother (Ross) said "watch your language with my brother, he's hotter than you'll ever be" and his sister Abi agreed. I knew Abi from my high school, she was a stupid idiot. She though she was the best. But then I moved!"

-Amanda's (James's mum) POV-
"Mum, why are you being like this?" Melissa said being brave but I could tell she just wanted to cry. everyone had stopped eating and was string at us by now.

"Your a pathetic skank Melissa, your uglier than shrek, fatter than fuck, your figure is sickly and your a fucking whore!"

Fuck this bitch I thought but just as I was about to start, James stated "Melissa is perfect, she the most beautiful girl I have even seen, she's far from fat, her figure is perfect and if there's one thing she's not its a whore!"

That was the cutest thing in the world, I could tell how much my little boy was in love. A lot!

-Abi POV-
I could tell how much my brother cared for Melissa, it was frickin adorable! I needed a relationship like this :(

-Melissa's POV-
"And what the fuck are you talking about young man? Your ginger and freckly and ugly and I could just be sick everywhere at the sight of you" my mum said but I knew she was jealous of him. Tears where rolling down my face now, I couldn't do this anymore! I stood up, got out my purse, put £150 down for the meal and tip and then ran away. James took the £150 and put his own money in place. I didn't notice that he had put my money back in my bag.

The rest of James's family got their stuff and joined along afterwards. I was outside crying and everyone could see me but for the first time in my life, I didn't give a fuck what anyone else thought. James came running up to me and picked me up. He passionately kissed me so that my parents could see. He stroked my face to get rid off all the black, mascara filled tears.

"I love you" he whispered in my ear and I couldn't help but smile and burst into tears. At that point, his mum and dad came over and suggested we stayed at a hotel nearby for the night and so we did.
