Chapter 26

-Melissa's POV-
It was morning and I was still sleeping on the couch. I saw Steven's car, Ross's car and Abi's car had gone. Then I heard James upstairs. Me and Amanda went up to listen to who he was talking to. "Yeah, it's hard for me, I mean I don't even know whether I still love Melissa or not, we've not even had sex yet and every time we're together something awful happens and she not even as fun, I mean it's different I love Pam now" he added.

Then the person at the other end said something but I couldn't tell what it was. "well I don't care if you think Melissa is the right girl, I love Pam!" He switched off the phone and opened the door. Me and Amanda quickly ran down before he could see us. "plz don't say I heard anything, please" I whispered as she nodded in disappointment.

So on Christmas, I get to know that the love of my life doesn't even love me anymore! My life is pathetic I swear. He came down and hugged his mum and then sat on the couch ignoring me completely. "Mum, I've just been offered a spot in that university near us and I was wondering if I could live with you instead of Melissa so it's closer?" He said and I could see the anger in her face. "sure son" she said keeping her temper chilled.

"I'm going back to ours for abit" he said and before anyone could say anything he was out. "just ignore him, he's in big trouble later. Anyway, I'm making the Christmas pudding" she said and started baking. "I'm gonna go get some coffee" I said and headed off to the shop.

As i was walking, I saw James! With Pam?! They were kissing, eating each other's faces off practically. I quickly hid and he took her in her house and before I knew it, they where on the couch having sex, I could see everything through the window.

I quickly ran home. "get the coffee then?" Amanda says. Shit. "didn't have any" I quickly responded. "Melissa, it's a coffee shop!" She laughed. "oh" I said and walked into the living room. I sat on the floor swaying back and forth going insane. Amanda came and asked me what's wrong but I just told her I was bored. It was Christmas and I had just seen my boyfriend cheat on me!

Everyone then went to Amanda and Steven's house including me. It was time for Christmas lunch/tea. Everybody sat around. We all gave each other presents. I felt anger an disgust whilst reading my card from James. I said I had forgotten something from my house and went home as fast as I could. I grabbed all the alcohol I could find. 13 bottles of vodka. I downed them all and I felt like fucking Jesus! I grabbed a knife and engraved cuts all over my wrists all the way down my arm.

Sarah called me. Facetime. She screamed in shock of my arms and I told her everything, just then I fell to the hard ground and everything went black.

-James POV-
Mum called Melissa about 8 times and gave in. She made us all go and pick her up. I was so bored but I felt like the biggest dick ever. I've cheated on Melissa! I can never tell her!

We arrived and there was a big ambulance and Melissa was on a stretcher. We all ran over to see what happened. Her face looked white as a ghost, there was blood everywhere and her arms has a million cuts on. She stunk of alcohol so badly. She was taken away and then we quickly get in her house to see if everything's ok.

There was blood everywhere and bottles. Sarah was there. She turned around and gave me an evil glare. What the fuck was that for? I thought over and over again.
"What happened?" Mum said looking mortified. "are you going to tell them?" She hissed at me.
"Tell them what?" I ask.
"Ok then, well this morning when your university called. Not. she heard everything you said that you don't love her and you didn't thing she was beautiful." Sarah said slamming the door behind her.
