" DO YOU WANNA TELL HIM OR SHOULD I? "
Through his hazy vision, he was able to make out two bodies being thrown into a dark space as Nathan began to reluctantly slip into his own.
"Nathan! , Nathan".
A distant voice, laced in familiarity, desperately called out to him.
The beckoning became louder as he was pulled from his unconscious state as his eyes slowly peeled open.
His now awakened mind was suddenly taken over by agony, causing Nathan to groan uncomfortably and move his head from side to side.
Leon frowned in worry.
"Nathan, are you okay?", he asked, eyes still on Nathan's face.
Too distracted, Nathan simply nods, trying to focus something other than the pain.
Shifting in his seat, he discovered that he was bound to it.
His wrists and ankles were tied tightly to the metal back and legs, making it almost impossible to stand.
In a pointless attempt to escape, Nathan began to tug at the thick strings but to no avail.
Giving up, Nathan looked up and met the eyes of his own as he stared back, trying to figure out the meaning for his own reflection.
It was a two-way mirror.
He continued to gaze at himself, striving to retrieve the story that would explain what got him into this predicament. the details blurred within the refection of his bloodshot eyes.
However, no matter how much he strained his broken memories, he couldn't find what he was looking for. The details blurred within the reflection of his bloodshot eyes.
Tearing his eye line from his reflection, he moved it into Leon, who was also bound to a chair.
However, as he scanned the room, he couldn't help but noticed the absence of something, or rather someone.
"Where's Sarah?", he asked, turning to Leon, who was looking at the rope that secured his ankles to the chair.
As Leon open his mouth the reply, the sharp screech of an adjusting microphone echoed throughout the small room, causing the pair to wince.
"As much as I appreciate your worrying, you should be more concerned about the man in front of you", a familiar voice chuckles.
Confused, he looked around, trying to find the source of the speaker.
" Where is that coming from? ", he mumbled under his breath.
" Behind the mirror", they announce, making Nathan look towards it.
That's when everything fell into place.
The voice.
The very reason for their current situation.
Sarah.
It was Sarah's voice.
And it was Sarah who had forced them into this predicament.
Due to the betraying enlightenment, Nathan could feel anger and frustration beginning to bubble in the pit of his stomach and it was slowly rising.
Unable to sit still, he began to struggle against his restraints violently.
Leon, who had realised the reasoning for Nathan's outburst, clenched his fists, his knuckles turning white.
"I knew it", he told himself, irritated that he didn't act on his assumptions sooner.
"I knew it! ", he screamed," I remained hidden for years !, Then you come along", he continued.
A feminine laugh echoed and bounced off the walls, making the boys feel claustrophobic.
"What a coincidence", She answered sarcastically.
"As amusing as this is, I'd like to get down to business"
A sickeningly familiar, American voice introduced itself, causing Nathan's head to snap up in a panic.
Leon frowned, confusingly staring at Nathan's increasingly worried state.
In hysterics, Nathan attempted to throw his body out of the chair, too anxious to notice how his ankles and wrists began to split and tare from the constant tugging force.
Suddenly, the door opened, revealing two female silhouettes.
Sarah and the American brunette.
Nathan froze, his eyes widened in fear.
However, Leon was finding it difficult to remain still, the sudden feeling too angry surging through him.
The women slowly strode towards him, like a predator cornering its prey.
"Nice seeing you again Nathan", She said, stroking his bruised cheek, making him flinch, "I'm sorry we didn't have the best first impressions, I hope he didn't hit you too hard",
She chuckled darkly, almost finding pride in the off colouring of his face.
She looked away from Nathan's shaking physique and focused on Leon, who was burning holes of passionate hate into her form.
" so you're the guy they've been so desperate for? ", She asked unimpressed, looking him up and down. Nathan frowned.
" who's 'they'? ", Nathan wondered quietly, looking at Leon.
Leon didn't and looked away from Nathan. He squinted.
" Who are you? ".
The women chuckled at the question, looking between both Nathan and Leon, finally staring at Leon.
" Do you wanna tell him or should I? ", She asked.
Leon remained silent.
" Fine", She grinned.
