Caia soon discovered that the manual on her bed was a lot more sinister than it originally seemed. As soon as she was aware the manuals were being confiscated, she knew they couldn't be good and threw hers into the fire. Caia would soon learn that this game was the cause of Ben and Hilton's death. It would also be officially banned by Hermione Lodge.

Caia made a resolution to grill Betty, who she was sure knew a lot about it.

However, little did Caia know, Betty was about to learn a lot more.

Riverdale; Mid 1980s
POV: Anna Bennett

Anna Bennett was the quintisential high school beauty queen good girl. A Molly Ringwald type, a character from a John Hughes film. She had the perfect life. A good family, lots of friends, a spot on the cheerleading team, and beauty enviable of any other girl.

But, of course, like any other of those characters, she was not the goody two shoes she appeared to be. Precisely the reason she was skipping third period to read Teen Vogue in the bathroom on a fake hall pass from the nurse.

Anna didn't mind that she wasn't alone. Hermione Gomez may have been a bit of a nerd, but she was no snitch. Sierra Samuels was a gossip but, again, no snitch. And Alice Smith, well, she was Alice Smith.

However, Anna became slightly concerned when she heard Alice slam her fist against the bathroom door and curse under her breath. She didn't want anyone having a mental breakdown when she was in the vicinity. She was not qualified to deal with that.

Hermione, however, seemed to be genuinely concerned about Alice's well being. She took a few steps toward the stall door, knocking gently before pulling it open. "Everything okay in there?" She questioned.

"God, mind your own business, Hermione, shouldn't you be in a church?" Alice shot from her seat on the closed toilet lid. It was here where both Anna and Hermione noticed the small white stick in Alice's hand.

"Oh crap, girl," Hermione exclaimed. "Are you?.."

Alice stood up from the toilet and strutted towards the mirror, ramming her shoulder into Hermione as she passed. "It's probably a false posititve, it happens all the time," she claimed.

Anna raised her eyebrows at the girl. That was a reach. "Like, three percent of the time," Sierra reminded, stating Anna's exact thoughts.

"No one's talking to you, Sierra!" Hermione shot.

Alice turned around, and for once she actually looked scared. "What am I gonna do?" She mused, worriedly. "I tried to talk to him and he blew me off for some Vixen he's screwing." She let out a cynical chuckle. "Classic FP Jones."

Anna almost dropped her magazine as the other two girls repeated Alice's statement with awe. FP Jones? She was quietly screaming inside because she was pretty sure she was the Vixen he was screwing. Admitedly, it was only once, but still.

Suddnely, the door swung open and in walked Riverdale's resident bitch, and teacher's pet, Penelope Blossom. "Well, well, well," She exclaimed. "I thought I heard a party in here. Hall passes, ladies?"

Hermione handed hers over with no hesitation. Anna dug hers out of her pocket and handed it to Penelope with a tight lipped smile.
