The Chase

Penny's POV
As I leaded the way to Long Beach with Andrew by my side we made a pretty good team with his smarts and my smarts in anything beach or ocean like it didn't take us long to find it but what troubles me was the last time we needed to cross the road.I was walking well speed walking to the pole where you press the button and wait for it to tell you to walk well I didn't press it.I was staring at the pink mini paper then a car came and I was frozen.I didn't move at first I thought this is how I'm going to die a non heroic death.But Andrew saved me by grabbing my wrist and pulling me toward him and I holding on to him with my hands on his chest.I was panting.
"Penny are you okay!"Andrew asked.
"Yeah I think so,"I reply.
"Yah think?Next time be carful,"Andrew said.Then Percy came with Annabeth,Thalia and Luke following behind him.
"Penny I thought you were going to die!"Percy shouted then hugged me very hard.
"Percy can't breath,"I say.
"Well like Andrew said next time be careful,"Percy said letting go.
"I'm glad your alive that would mean there would be more boys than girls," Thalia said.Percy Andrew and Luke looked at Thalia glaring at her.
"Yeah or my brother would not be the same without you,"Annabeth said.
"Let's continue walking,"I say then Andrew grabs me again.
"Oh no you don't I'm leading the way this time,"Andrew says.I pouted then I think Andrew blushed.
"Andrew you okay your kinda pink?"I asked.He blushes even more.
"Uh I-i'm fine,"Andrew says did he just stutter?
"Anyways come on guys let's move,"Andrew says and I give him the paper and he reads it then presses the button and we wait then walk across the road but Andrew was quite protective of me he glared at a driver who was being impatient.Everyone besides me and Andrew laughed.
"Why are you guys laughing?"Andrew asked.Then they stopped laughing and became quite.Andrew gave them a suspicious look then moved on.
"Okay guys were here so where's the backpacks?"Andrew asked.
"There,"Annabeth says pointing toward where the bathroom restrooms are.
"Good I need to use the restroom,"Luke says.Percy chuckled then Luke hit him with his elbow playfully.
"Hey I bet you need to use the restroom too Percy,"Luke says.
"Hey in fact I- oh actually I need to use the restroom,"Percy says.Luke laughs.
"Hey shut up dude come on I'm going to the restroom,"Percy says walking away.
"Hey wait up!"Luke shouts following Percy.
"Boys,"I say at the same time as Annabeth and Thalia.
"But there so cute when they want to be,"Thalia said.
"True,"I say.
"Just so you know Luke's mine,"Thalia says.
"Cool what about you Annabeth?"I ask her.
"Oh I'm going for Percy,"She says I raise my eyebrows at her.
"You like my brother oookay,"I say.
"Well I like Andrew,"I say.
"Oh so you like my brother?"Annabeth asks smiling I look away.
"Yeah why are you too smiling?"I ask.
"Cause we forgot Andrews here and he heard everything,"Thalia said.I looked behind myself and saw Andrew mouth open wide.
"You tell Percy or Luke about this and I'll hurt you,"Thalia says and Andrew gulps and nods.He looks at me and we both blush and look away from each other.
"I'll Uh go get the backpacks,"Andrew says and speed walks away.Does Andrew like me back I don't think he does.
"Guys do you think Andrew likes me back?"I asked Thalia and Annabeth.
"Yeah of course don't think that way think of how he blushed just by looking at you,"Thalia says.
"And how he stuttered at you and he never does that and when he does it only means he's nervous,"Annabeth says
"Man you guys are good at comforting each other I have a feeling we'll be great friends,"I say.
"Me too,"Annabeth says.
"Me three,"Thalia replys.
"Jackson get back here!"I heard Luke shout to Percy and Percy stuck his tongue out at Luke and me and Thalia noticed that Annabeth was staring at Percy.Then when Percy wasn't looking he tripped and fell on Annabeth.
"Owwww,"Annabeth says.
"Um I'm sorry Annabeth,"Percy says and opens his eyes and notices that he's on top of Annabeth and they both blush and I got my phone out (that doesn't attract monsters)and took a photo.
"It's okay Perc-"then Annabeth got interrupted by the click of my phone.
"Penny don't tell me you took a photo?"Percy asks.
"Um I did and there's no way you can delete it cause you don't know my password,"I said and Percy signed her knew I won this time.Percy stood up and took his hand out for Annabeth to grab and when they touched hands they blushed and stared at their hands still touching then let go.
"Smooth move there Jackson,"Luke says.
"Shut up Castellan,"Percy replies.
"I got the backpacks!"Andrew shouted.I just realized the moment Andrew came I was staring at him or what Percy likes to say cause he noticed 'drooled over Andrew' and when Andrew looked at me we blushed then I looked away.
"Since there's only 2 one will be for Annabeth to share with me and one will be for Luke to share with Thalia and Penny you haven't run out of supplies yet so you could share with Andrew,"Percy says and I glare at him and he smirked back knowing that I like Andrew.
"Uh come Andrew I got something for you that'll help you a lot,"I say putting my backpack on the sand with me and Andrew sitting down next to each other.
"This,"I say getting out a bag of ambrosia.
"Is called ambrosia it's the food of the gods but it heals demigods and it taste amazing,"I say.
"So it'll heal any scars I have?"Andrew asked.
"Yeah pretty much,"I reply.And give him a small piece of ambrosia he eats it then looks at me.
"Can I have more?"he asked.
"If you eat to much you'll get vaporized,"I say.
"Awww so I can't have any fun?Do you care about my health?"Andrew asks getting on top of me and I hide the ambrosia behind my back.
"I- I do care about your health Andrew,"I say did I just stutter I hope I'm not blushing.
"Then you wouldn't mind if I had more ambrosia huh?"Andrew asked.
"Y-your fine right now Andrew,"I say blushing.
"You sure I look fine but do i feel fine?"Andrew asked.
"You could have some nectar too?"I said.
"Nectar what is tha-"I cut him off my going on top of him.
"I'll show you what it is as long you don't drink too much,"I say.And Andrew gulps and nodded blushing I smiled in victory.
"Nectar is kinda like ambrosia once you think about it clearly so it heals you either way but you can't drink too much,"I say.
"So can I have some?"Andrew asked.
"Nope I lied to you,"I said smiling.
"Aww come on,"Andrew asks.
"No I'm not giving you some you already had ambrosia sooo you need a weapon to protect yourself,"I said and Andrew's face lit up.
"Hades yeah I need one,"Andrew says and I laugh.I give him celestial bronze dagger and Andrew says that he'd  like to keep it so I gave it to him.
"Alright people let's get moving I hope you 2 found some weapons you like?"Percy asked to Thalia and Luke.
"Yeah we did we could go now,"Luke said.
"Okay so we're in California and me and Penny want you guys to come with us to Long Island okay cool with you?"Percy asked everyone besides me.
"Sure,"Luke said.
"Okay,"Thalia said.
"Yes,"Annabeth says.
"Yeah,"Andrew said.
"We should leave before Luke, Thalia, Penny and Andrew find out we took a video of the romantic moments they had,"Percy meant to say to Annabeth but accidentally said it out loud.Annabeth facepalmed.
"Oh my gods Percy we should run now,"Annabeth said and grabbing Percy's hand which made him blush and they ran away from us.Wait oh Percy's gonna get it!
"PERCY!"I shouted and grabbed Andrew's hand.
"Come on Andrew we better follow them!"I shouted to Andrew.I saw Andrew blush and I did a happy dance in my mind while I shouted at him and snapped out of his daze nodded and ran with me.
"GODS PERCY YOU NEVER STOP DON'T YOU?!"Luke shouted.
"AND YOU TWO ANNABETH!"Thalia shouted and we followed Thalia and Luke chasing Percy and Annabeth.
