"another one? seriously?"

Dan held the package in his hand. just like the other ones, it had his name written on the top with a heart scribbled next to it and just like the rest: it didn't say who it was from.

for the past months, Dan Kouzo had been the target of a secret admirer and most mornings he'd wake up to packages on his doorstep. they would always consist of different items like his favorite chocolates, poems about him or other snacks he loved.

his admirer really knew a lot of things about him and if there was something worth knowing about Dan Kouzo, it's that he loved food. his admirer knew that for a fact.

Dan found it cute someone out there was taking time to craft him gifts to show their appreciation but he was annoyed he didn't know who it was. he really wanted to thank them for everything but trying to figure out their identity was a lost cause.

dan's friends all found it a bit strange. they thought maybe his admirer was a fan of his considering their fame online but that didn't matter to the pyrus brawler. Dan was determined to find out who this lover of his was and make his secret admirer not so much of a secret.

but how would he do this? simple.

if his admirer loved him so much; that had to mean they were up to date on the ao's uploads. so when no one was around studio d, dan grabbed lia's camera, sat down on the couch and got to recording.

"hey everyone, Dan here." he started and took the package he had received only to hold it up to the camera's view. "I know this isn't bakugan related but recently, I've been getting packages on my doorstep and I'm not really sure who they're from."

Dan put the box on his lap and looked at the camera. "they're not bad, just cute gifts from what I can only describe as a secret admirer and really I only made this video to get this message out there.." the boy sighed and his view from the camera went down to the box on his lap. "who ever you are, I really want to get to know you. I love these gifts and all the things you've said to me through poems or letters mean a lot to me, so, come out and show yourself and who knows? maybe this could work out."

Dan let his lips form a warm smile, his gaze not leaving the package. all those gifts were the only thing he had of knowing this person and he really did want to meet them. they made him smile and stay up at night looking out his window as he thought of who they could be.

he quickly snapped out of his thoughts though and looked at the camera once more.

"well that's all. I just wanted to get the message out there. thanks for listening and admirer... come and meet me." after his little outro, Dan got the camera to stop recording.

with minimal editing and the absence of a thumbnail, Dan uploaded the video to their channel with the title being 'a message to my admirer' before closing their shared laptop and walking home for the night.

the video didn't receive much attention from the ao's audience of bakugan enthusiasts. with no relation to bakugan, of course many people didn't care but it did catch the attention of the person Dan meant for it to be for.

the next morning, kouzo woke up to quite the surprise. standing on his doorstep was someone he didn't even predict was his admirer with a package identical to the rest in his hands.

Dan was quick to open the door when he saw him through the window of his room. he knew exactly why he was here and he was happy just as he was surprised.

"Magnus?!" Dan exclaimed in an excited tone. "you're the admirer?"

Magnus didn't reply. his expression was more embarrassed than before, a deep blush on his cheeks as if he was ashamed.

the package that was once in his possession was handed to Dan without a word. Dan looked down at the package then up at Magnus who gave him a smile before he turned and left.

kouzo was left confused for only a brief moment before it was washed away with a smile. he looked down at the box again and at the top, just like the others, was the name Dan Kouzo and a heart scribbled next it but this one was different for underneath it it said something else.

the words: from your admirer: Magnus Black.
