You whipped me
with your lines of current,
volts like spiked marbles rolled across
the rolling hills of my spine.
You licked the blood from my lips
when I bit my tongue you pinched yourself.
We were dreaming awake.
Bloody massacres wracked our bodies
in endless convulsing bliss.
We poured out of ourselves onto the floor and evaporated
like hot breath on a cold window.
Tatters of a former life fluttered in piles as waves broke over our skin in droves
raising hackles, growling murder, tooth to tooth.
We came to rest eventually in a soft cairn,
got dressed in the dark and dissapeared.
