Part 5 (girl in my dreams)

It's now the next day and after the incident, the staff decided to send us back to our dorms today. I'm waiting for the bus with my suitcase while Yuna is still looking for her earrings. She said that she didn't need help finding them but should I go with her so she can find them faster? While I'm in my own thoughts I see someone standing in front of me. "Hey.." I look up to see Jaemin standing there in front of me. "oh- hi.." I said being a bit surprised to see him talk to me. I mean after what he said to me last night made me understand him more but I also don't know how to communicate with him like this. He hands me out my shoe that got ruined last night. I check to see that it has been fixed and I look up at him in confusion. "I just thought you might want the other pair back. I'm sorry that I didn't clean it for you but at least it's sewed up right?" He said with a slight smile on his face. There it is.. the smile that he gave me before he moved out. That smile he gave me whenever I tripped and hurt myself on accident. That smile that says "it's okay, I'm here for you.." I look down on the shoe and smile back at him. "Thank you, I really appreciate it." I said and he awkwardly nods. Yuna runs back to me but stops her tracks when she sees Jaemin. "I better get going.." he said pointing back to his friends and I give him a nod. Yuna then whispers to me "What was that? Why did he smile at you? wait a minute- is he?" I chuckle at her never ending questions. I nod "yeah, he is that childhood friend I had." I said with a relieved smile. He always used to fix my shoes and the fact that he still does makes me feel like he might have a slight chance to remember me again. It's been several days and we are at a meeting. I look around and I see that Yuna, Yeji, Lia and Chaeryoung are just as confused as I am. "So you all are probably wondering why I called you guys here and I'm sure all of you will be pleased to hear what we have to say.." the ceo said and we all look confused at each other. "we've decided to work on you guys and from now on we will focus on you guys' debut. You will practice a choreography for your song and record in a studio as well. It'll take up to three months so I need everyone to try their hardest." He said with a smile. I look shocked at Yuna and she is just widely smiling. Are you being serious? Is this for real? I can't believe that I'm finally going to debut! "Here is some of your official positions in the group. I want you to practice especially for those specific positions. I believe in you guys so do not disappoint me." The CEO said leaning back on his chair.
"Name: Ryujin Shin

Positions: Main Rapper, Center, Lead Dancer, Vocalist."
"Wow.." I said to myself. This is actually real..
"And Yeji will be the leader of this group so I expect that you'll do a good job, am I right?" He asked Yeji and she gives him a quick respond
"yes sir, I'll do my best."
"The group's official name will be ITZY." said one of the staff and we all look happy at each other.
ITZY.. I like that name.. weeks has passed and we've been working hard for our debut. It's been extremely hard but I can manage. I got my hair dyed back to black with highlights and not gonna lie, I've missed my dark hair. We finally got to see our pictures from the photo shoot and it looks so good! I can't wait to see the world's reaction to this! Then a couple days after, I'm walking towards the studio until I bump into someone. "oh- I'm so sorry!" I quickly bowed and when I looked up, I see Jaemin smiling at me. "It's fine.. I've heard the news. You guys are debuting soon right?" He asked while looking at my new hair. "Yeah, in about 3 weeks now.." I awkwardly said and he slowly nods. "I like your new hair.." he said and I awkwardly mouth thank you. Why is he so awkward towards me? It makes me a bit uncomfortable until Lia yelled "Ryujin! It's your turn!" I yell "okay I'm coming!" Until I look back at Jaemin. "You better get going.." he said pointing at Lia and I nod. "See you around.." I said before I walk towards Lia. What is up with him? Is he okay or did something happened? Either way it felt weird talking with him..

Jaemin's POV
I've had some weird dreams lately of the girl who gave me her shoe when I was younger and something tells me that I've seen her before. I'm walking in the hallway until someone bumps into me. I look down to see a girl bowing at me. When she looks up I then see Ryujin with black hair. Wow, I never realized how pretty she actually is. Something with her hair makes me think about the girl in my dreams. She oddly looks the same but I mean that can't be.
"It's fine.. I've heard the news. You guys are debuting soon right?" I asked while admiring her new look. "Yeah, in about 3 weeks now.." she said and I slowly nod. I can tell that she feels uncomfortable so I quickly try to change the subject.
"I like your new hair.." I said pointing at her hair. Dude, why did you say that? That is just going to make her feel even more uncomfortable. Someone then yells after Ryujin and she quickly yells back before I said "you better get going.." she nods before she said "see you around.." and walks away. I look at her walking towards the studio and I sigh. What is going on with me? Why did I make her feel awkward like that? "Ugh.." I let out a groan of frustration and kept on walking to the practice room.
