Part 6 (special song)

It's a couple months after our debut and it has been pretty hard. I don't remember when it was the last time that I had slept for 5 hours straight. It's now 6pm and we are all walking inside the main building and I tell the other girls that I just need to get something to drink. I grab my drink from the vending machine and I turn around to see Mark standing right behind me. I take a step back and knock my head at the machine. "Ow!" I said rubbing the back of my head and Mark quickly tries to check if anything happened. "Are you okay?" He asked while patting my head and I look up at him. I just realize how close we are to each other and it makes me a bit uncomfortable. "I- I'm uh.." I start to stutter and Mark just casually chuckle before patting my head. "I heard that your debut is going well!" He then changes the subject as if nothing happened. We end up chatting for a bit until I said "oh well I have to go back with the other members so I guess I'll see you around?" He gives me a nod and smiles at me before I turn around and walk away. Even if it was extremely weird, I decided to just brush it off and focus on practicing with the other members. It is now a couple of weeks later and I'm hanging out with the producer and songwriter in the studio. We are just working on some music until they both look through my notebook filled with songs I wrote. "Yo Ryujin, why didn't you tell us that you could write songs?" The songwriter asked while looking through the pages. "It's not that good." I chuckle while looking down on my nails clearly feeling embarrassed. "I really like this one! What made you write it?" The producer then points out one of my lyrics and I smile to myself. "It's called "don't forget." It's about two people who are in love but destiny pulled them apart and all they can depend on is their memory of their love for one another.. (it's a real song by Crush and Taeyeon and I really recommend it!! This song will be something special for this story so keep that in mind!!)
The songwriter and the producer looks shocked at me and I look back at them confused. "We should help you record this song and share it with your fans. It's perfect!" The producer said with a smile. At first I think it's absolutely stupid because it's not as good as they make it sound it to be but when I think more about it, this song does describe how I feel about Jaemin.. maybe this will make me move on or something from him so I agreed with them. We start recording days after and we are now just listening to it over and over again. "Something doesn't feel right.." the songwriter said while focusing on listening to my demo. "Yeah man.. there is something missing.." the producer said trying to figure out why it's not perfect. I just look at them in confusion cause I mean it sounds perfect to me? "I got it! We should ask a male trainee to duet this! It'll make it a lot more deeper and touch people's heart don't you think Ryujin?" They both look at me and I just awkwardly sit there. "Well who would we ask?" I ask them and the producer doesn't even hesitate before saying "Jaemin-ssi! He is perfect!"
The songwriter then asked "wait but isn't his specialty rapping?" The producer gives him a reliable smile before saying "this song is not about having amazing vocals. Ryujin is a rapper herself and she killed it. It's about the emotion and rappers are perfectly great at it! Let's just give it a try.." Wait what? Am I going to sing the song that I wrote for Jaemin WITH Jaemin?
