Riverdale Love

Chapter 1

Archie, Veronica, and Jughead was waiting on Betty at Pop's . Soon Betty walked in with excitement.

Betty: Guess who is coming back to Riverdale?
Archie: Who Betty?
Betty: Evelyn
Veronica: Who is Evelyn?
Archie: She was our best friend who moved away freshman year.
Jughead: I can't wait to see her
Archie: Me too Jug

Veronica POV:

The next day Veronica is walking in Riverdale High. As she walked in the lounge she noticed everyone was there. "Hey Ronnie, this is Evelyn. Evelyn this is Veronica" Archie said with a smile. "Nice to meet you" I said with a smile. "You can sit next to me and Betty", Jughead said. "No I rather sit next to Archie", Evelyn said.

Archie put a reassuring hand on me. As the conversation kept going on I realized how she kept touching him and playing in his hair. Worse of all he let it happen. Thankfully the bell ringed because I was about to pop off.

During the class periods I barely talked to Archie without Evelyn interrupting. I really need a break from them because I'm trying to control my anger.

"Hey Cheryl", I said. "Hey Veronica, what's up" she asked. "Nothing. I just need a break from Evelyn and Archie. She is all over Archie and his dumbass just sits there. " I said. "I could only imagine how you feel. It's already hard being around your boyfriend's but it's worse when she's throwing herself at him. ". "Wait they dated?" I asked.

"Archie didn't tell you, I thought you knew" she said. "No he didn't, thanks for telling me " I said as I walked out. I dropped a tear out of frustration and anger and ran into Jughead. He ask "Veronica are you alright?" "Yes I'm fine." I said trying to get away.

At lunch Evelyn was sitting in my spot. I turned around but Cheryl and Jughead called me over. "You need to talk to him Veronica. I'll help you. Archie, Veronica needs to talk to you."

Cheryl said. Archie got up and we walked away. We were both silent until Archie broke it. "Not to be rude Ronnie but why you called me over here if you not gonna talk" he asked.

I said " I'm trying to figure out what to say". Archie said annoyed "Well let me know when you do because I could be . . ." " flirting with Evelyn, talking with Evelyn, touching Evelyn". I whispered yell. "Ronnie you sound crazy" he said.

" Do I ? Cheryl told me you guys dated for three years Archie and you didn't think that was important for you to tell me. Why not tell me if it didn't mean something?" "Because it doesn't mean anything Ronnie" he said.

"You need to give me some space, talk to whoever you want I don't care." I said trying to walk off. "No Ronnie please I love you" he said as I was walking away. While I was walking away, I remember my cousin came to visit and I want to leave.

Texting Chase

Ronnie : Hey Chase, I need a favor.
Chase : Hey Ronnie, what is it?
Ronnie: Can you come get me from school?
Chase : yeah I'll be there in a few.

Archie POV

I'm furious. I know who I need to find too. Everyone was still outside but Evelyn but I didn't care. "Cheryl why did you put all that stupid stuff in her head." I said angry .

"Don't blame me for your stupidity" Cheryl said. "Archie you were the one flirting with Evelyn and Cheryl and I was the only two who notice something was wrong and that goes for all of you." Jughead said. I realized they were right. I gotta make this right I walk to the lounge where I find Evelyn.

"What the hell was that?" I said angry. "It was us getting back to what we were" she said as she kiss me. As soon as her lips touched mine they left. I pushed her off of me so fast. It's like it was a small peck but she meant for it to be a passionate kiss.

Ronnie  walked over to Reggie to talk to him. Seeing her do that made me even angrier."No we will never pick up were we left off. You know I have a girlfriend why did you flirt with me all day. I can't believe I let you flirt with me."

"You did it because I love you and you love me" she said . No I don't, I love Veronica and only Veronica and I only have eyes for her." I yelled. I forgot she was here.

Veronica POV

Archie just told Evelyn off for me. Half of me wants to run in his arms and kiss him and the other half wants me to walk away. He turns and looked like he forgot that I was here and look pleading.

I walk by him to leave after I  asked Reggie to send me the homework and he said sure. "Ronnie?" Archie asked. I looked at him dropping a tear and nodded my head.

He said "I'm so sorry and I swear I didn't want her to kiss me.I pushed her off me." he said the last part trying to lighten the mood. "It's gonna take time. I need time to think: " I said. But before he could respond Chase came around the corner.

"Hey Ronnie, I missed you so much." Chase said while hugging me . "I missed you too" I said. He looked at me and ask " Have you been crying?". Me and Archie dropped our heads at the same time. Chase caught on to it though.

"Do I need to beat somebody ass Ronnie? Cuz I know this bitch ass boy didn't make you cry. You know I don't play about you." He asked now walking towards Archie so I stepped in the middle.

I could tell this hurt Archie. I hate that he is hurt even though he hurt me. "No you don't Chase, go wait on me outside." I said. " But Ronnie I know his stupid ass made you cry. Let me take him and beat his ass." Chase asked and made the statement at the same time.

"Please go outside Chase" I pleaded. I forgot Evelyn was here. "See Archie, she can flirt with other dudes but you can't flirt or even talk to other girls ." Evelyn said. I told her to shut up . "Ronnie?", a heartbroken Archie ask.

"Is that your ex or someone you're talking too ?" he asked. "No Archie that's my cousin. Look at me, I would never do that to you.", I said. "I know Ronnie but I did it to you. I don't know how I'm gonna live with myself .", he said.

"I'm so sorry Ronnie. Please forgive me. I love you Ronnie." "I love you too Archikiens". He leaned in to kiss me but I stepped back. "It's going to take time for me to trust you again." I said. He nodded and pulled me into a hug.

"Come on, you have to meet someone. This is my cousin, Chase Lodge, Chase this is my boyfriend Archie. "Nice to meet you Chase" Archie said. "Call me Mr. Lodge.Veronica I dropped my pen can you go get it while I have a talk with Austin." Chase said .

"Its Archie, Chase. You know you remember his name." Veronica said while leaving. "Now if you hurt her again I will kill you." Chase said. "I won't ever again . It hurts me to see her hurt Chase." Archie said. " Didn't I tell you to call me Mr. Lodge." Chase said stepping closer. " Sorry! Mr. Lodge" At his corrected.

Chase bust out laughing " I'm just playing Archie ,you can call me Chase. It's nice to meet you too, but you better not hurt her. " Chase said. "I won't" Archie said. I walked back out after listening and kiss Archie cheek goodbye and left.
