Kazuma's POV (flashback being told to Hiyori)

I had just been converted into a blessed regalia, and slowly but surely, we started rebuilding our broken family. I smile at m'lady. She smiles back, although I couldn't see the shine of her smile ever since I did what I did.

"Thank you, Kazuma, for you had stuck with me this whole time, my loyal blessed vessel." She embraces me, I wrap my arms around her, returning the gesture.

My master wore a colorful kimono, filled with drawings, her beautiful blond hair was up in a bun. The beautiful purple eyes owned by her pierced through my soul. She looked gorgeous.

The young regalia's laughter and the talking of the older seniors reverberated in the garden, their bright smiles greatly effected the mood of the place.

However, the heart-warming moment was cut short. A blaring alarm sounded through the mansion, and surprisingly through takamada. I could tell by the way it echoes.

This was one of the scariest sounds I had ever heard. M'lady was having trouble breathing because of her panicking. I collected myself.

"You two, get all regalia inside, NOW! I'll help once I get M'lady to safety." I grab my master's hand and sat her down inside of our average sized home.

Once I'd done that, I grabbed the regalia's and put them with m'lady.

I hear the regalias crying while the older ones tried consoling them. I looked at m'lady once the alarm turned off, it had been 30 minutes later.

Before I could say anything, m'lady got up. She put down the tea I had gotten her along with everyone. She made her way outside.

"M'lady, what was that? What's going on?" I asked, getting up.
"The heavens only play the sound when they have a very urgent new law that would affect every God. So it'd be wise to go now. Regalias aren't allowed to come, so you must stay here to take care of everyone else."
"Bu-"
"I can't trust anyone else to take care of my regalias," she paused, "other than you, I ask of you, my blessed Vessel, take care of them." Her pained expression hit me, my guilt wouldn't stop growning. I sighed.
"Yes, if that is what you wish, m'lady."
"Thank you, Kazuma."

And so, I took care of the regalias, fed them, played games with them, talked to them, and ect. Although, I was worried sick, M'lady had taken two whole days to come back.

When she did come back, she wouldn't say a word, I could only hear her mutters.

"They've gone mad."

I could only assume she meant the heavens. Days went by and nothing had happened after that, what had happened was old news by now.

Until, that day.

As you may know, gods are assigned to do certain tasks for humans. So although we spend a lot of time at takamada, we spend even more time in the far shore.

All gods and regalias are obligated to go to earth at some point, whether we'd like to or not. See, times were different back then, it was either kill or be killed for unknown gods. Maybe that saying gives you an idea of how harsh and different times were back then.

All gods strived to become more popular to humans in order to gain more fame, and a less chance of dying. Luckily that didn't apply to M'lady, she was a god of fortune after all.

So, M'lady and I were taking a stroll down the dirt roads and houses with the occasional shrines here and there. Sometimes we had to take a stop in order to slay a phantom.

Gods doing this wasn't very uncommon, we'd noticed there was a number of gods that we hadn't seen. Usually there were friendly gods slaying as much phantoms as possible in order to get a name and be less unknown.

M'lady wasn't bothered with this, everytime I would bring up the fact of the matter, she would brush it off. I was walking behind her when she came to a sudden stop.

"M'lady? Is everything fine-?"

My eyes widened as we see the missing gods.

"We deserve this land as much as you do!"
"Let us free!"
"We want out of this place!"
"We deserve a chance the become known like you!"
"We will not stand for this!"

A group of god protesters surrounded the place where the collaqueens were held. They were loud, and with every word spoken they showed nothing but confidence.

Behind of all this chaos, there he was, the future leader. The one whom had been responsible for many deaths, the one whom had managed to made the heavens quiver in fear.

"That day I found the God Y/n, smirking sadisticly over the angry gods, an amused smile danced across his face, a malicious lust surrounding him, so strong I could feel it."
