Chapter 41

(^^Every god of fortune apart from Tenshi and Bishamon)

I couldn't stop staring at it as Take and I speed walk towards the South. I grit my teeth. The light brown dirt was squishy under my feet, large pieces of destroyed buildings and rubble that was even larger was on the ground. That wasn't what worried me.

Blood, so much blood. It was everywhere.. Yato had caused all of this, I knew what I had to do as soon as I saw him.

I had to knock him out, and bring him somewhere far, far away. Away from father, away from gods, he wasn't safe anywhere right now.

We heard faint crashes in the distance, although both of us were tired, we continued sprinting. It was difficult to, but I knew Yato needed me right now.

We ran through the abandoned town Yato had destroyed, seeing the next town not too far away. I heard grunts as I got closer, swords clashing with each other.

As I got there I see Yato chop his opponent's head off, he was about to go for his next victim, another god. However, he stopped in his tracks.
"YATO!" I yelled loudly, he stopped his sword from hitting the god.

His blood lust then directed towards me, after a second of identifying me, his malicious aura dissapeared completely. His eyes widened with relief and a smile appeared, replacing his cold frown.

I ran towards him, he wasn't expecting that. As soon as I got close to him, I knocked him out.

I carried his limp body, glancing at the hiding Take. He didn't want any trouble with the Heavens, so he made an effort to not be seen with us.

I turn to the Gods, making my final statement to make sure the Heavens don't come after us.
"If you thought I was a hassle to kidnap, then imagine me with an actual regalia. More threatening, huh. Now, imagine this man and I as a team, that's much more intimidating. If you ever come after us again, I won't hold back like I did before, assholes." I carry his limp body, giving him a piggy back ride.

After leaving the dumbfounded Gods, Take joined me.
"Where are you going now, God Y/n?" He asked with curiousity, I glanced at him for a second, before looking at the path in front of me.
"I'm going to leave Yato with the seven gods of fortune, after that, I need to look for Sadda, my regalia. Will you lead me there, Take?" I asked simply, he grunted in both acknowledgement and agreement.

"Yukine, are you okay?" I asked the young, blond regalia. He reverted from his katana form to his usual body form.
"Yeah.. I'm okay." He answered quietly, I sigh heavily, pitying the kid.
"Yato didn't force you to kill them, did he?" I asked, his eyes widened as he quickly turned to me.
"N-no! Of course not! He wouldn't do something like that! I was the one who volunteered to go with him." He answered with disbelief.
"Then what's bothering you?" I questioned.
"It's just that.. we, Hiyori and I, don't know anything about you two. It seems like you're unserepable, which makes sense, you're brother, bu-"
"I understand, don't worry so much, Yukine. You've got all of eternity to learn more about us, to get closer. You've just got to be patient with Yato, he's been through a lot. He's also kinda a train wreck, but you've got to promise me," I turn to him, "Don't leave him behind, take care of him, alright, Yukine?" His eyes widened, before going back to normal, he nods, his eyes had a determined shine to them.

"We're here." Take announces. I look up, seeing the gods of fortune cornering a God, that's when a regalia comes in.

"What're you going to do, huh? You have no regalias, gods without regalias are useless. They're nothin-" she gasped sharply, a drop of blood coming from the small cut I had made on her neck.

I held my pocket knife, my fingers wrapped around it, and my thumb at the bottom. My elbow was bent, behind her neck.

"If that's the case, why is it that I killed approximately two hundred gods, and four hundred regalias. In fact, what's stopping me from killing you right now? One regalia doesn't seem like too much of a hassle, in fact I don't think the heavens would mind. You're not too important to them, you can simply be replaced." I gave her a menacing grin.

Her eyes widened with fear as her breath hitched. A horrified look replaced the smug one that she had a few minutes ago.

"You have three seconds, get out of my sight." I whispered, I took the knife away from her neck's arteries. She ran off quickly, I then turn to the other Gods and regalia that were with her.
"You all have five seconds since you didn't piss me off, starting now." They scramble off as well.

I watch as they ran, before turning to face the gods of fortune. I grin at them playfully, still hold Yato on my back.

"Y/N WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU, I DIDN'T SEE YOU AT MY PARTY AT HAWAII AND I IMMEDIATELY KNEW SOMETHING WAS ON!"
"Okuninushi?" I looked at him, giving him a grin.
"It's been a hectic few months, forgive my absence will ya, big guy?"

I felt Kofuku and Daikoku embrace me, Kofuku was teasing me innocently, while Daikoku was crying.
"I missed you, you big idiotttt!" He cried.

I carried the small Ebisu and had a small conversation with the rest of the Gods of fortune once I put Yato down on a small carpet on the floor.
Perhaps I hit him a little too hard..

I looked down at Yato, and suddenly remembered.
"Do you guys have any idea where Sadda is?" I asked.
"Your blessed Vessel? No, haven't seen him." Okuninushi answered. My eyes narrowed, not knowing where to look. Trying to figure it out.

"He's fighting at north." I heard a weak voice, I look over to see Yato, slowly trying to sit up.
"Hey-don't push yourself!" I scold him, he stares at me, as I quickly walk over to help him.
"He's was also looking at you, he was convinced father had a something to do with this. I don't think he was wrong, but it still wasn't sure if it was a good idea to leave him alone. So I secretly put a tracker on him..... Here."

He gives me a small device the size of a pocket watch. I stare at it, a blinking dot stood there, not moving. He held the device tightly into his chest protectingly, "Wait," I look up at his as he paused, "You have to promise me, you'll come back alive." My eyes narrowed with determination, "Yeah, I-I will."

I got up to quickly leave after Yato hesitantly gave me it,
"Wait! I'm coming with you!" Kazuma states, as he got up and made his way beside me. I glance at Bishamon.
"I don't think that's a goo-" I was cut off.
"I'm going, Sadda was one of the only people I have trusted. He stood by me when not much people would." I stare at him.
"Ask her first." I say, avoiding the akward eye contact with Bishamon.
"It's fine by me, as long as I come along too." I turn to face Bishamon, my eyes narrowing.
"Fine." An exasperated sigh comes out as I walked away, knowing the two were following. I turn my head just before leaving the doorway.
"If Yato comes out with any more injuries, I'll murder all of you," I say darkly, "except you, Ebisu... you're adorable." I mutter loud enough for everyone to hear.
