"Okay, you're clear to go." The doctor gave me a smile as he unhooked the IV from my arm. I smiled in relief and accepted his help in standing.
It's been about a week now since I woke, and three since I was found after the attack. Most of my bandages were gone, minus a couple on my left leg and right shoulder.
"Miss Saori Kido had these dropped off today." The nurse handed me a neatly folded stack of clothes. "You can pull that curtain there and change."
"Thank you." I did just that. I admired my reflection in the mirror. I wore a heather-purple tank top underneath a wine-purple jacket, black pants, and spruce brown, knee-high boots with periwinkle laces.
What can I say? I like purple!
"There are two men waiting for you downstairs." The nurse gave me a warm smile before walking me all the way to the lobby.
There were, in fact, two men standing there at the front desk, but...
"Are those the men?"
"Yes!" The nurse beamed and dragged me over to them before I could say anything else.
"Hello! She's ready to go!"
The first man gave me a smile that sent shivers down my spine. "Hey, you're looking better."
"Who... Are you?" I asked quietly. I saw the nurse frown in confusion at my question.
"Oh come on, you seriously don't remember us?" He leaned forward to take my arm and I flinched, moving it away and taking a step back. Red flags and alarms were going through my head so fast that I started seeing red on the edges of my vision. "Well, come on. We gotta go."
"I... Don't think so..." I tried to move back again, but my back hit someone's chest. I freaked until I felt arms wrap around me protectively, gentle and warm.
Shun...
"What the hell are you joker's trying to pull here, huh?!" Seiya came in from my right side, obviously pissed off. The guys backed away with equally pissed looks. "You guys think you can just waltz in here and take her away?!"
"Security!" The nurse called and four security guards immediately came and dragged the still spiteful men away.
"Jesus Christ..." Seiya grumbled and clenched his teeth. I lifted my arms and gripped Shun's in a weird hug. "You okay?"
I nodded, too spooked to say anything else.
"Did you recognize them at all?" Shun asked quietly. I shook my head.
"I'm so sorry!" The nurse was even more freaked than I was, sputtering out apology after apology.
"It's fine, you had no idea." Seiya answered for me, patting her arm.
"Are these the men, before I let them take you?" The nurse asked. I laughed and smiled, which seemed to ease Shun and Seiya's tense stances. Shun let go of me and I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed.
"Yeah, they are the right guys."

"So hey, what are we gonna call you?""What?" I looked up from the window to see Seiya looking at me from the passenger seat of the car. The driver was one of the Guraad Foundation's employees and stayed totally silent, which, I'm not gonna lie, kinda gave me the creeps. Shun sat on the right side of the car in the back with me.
"Well, we need something to call you."
"He's right." Shun moved his gaze from his window to me. "It can only be temporary, until you remember your real name."
