"I found them."

"Thank you, Hyoga." Saori looked at me and Jolene. "Are you two alright?"

"I'm fine."

"Yes, ma'am."

"I'm sorry we had to drag you into this, Jolene."

"It's fine, ma'am. The job you provided got me through medical school, so I hold no grudge." Jolene held her hands up in a surrender position with a smile.

"Wait, Jolene, aren't you seventeen like me?" I asked, sharing everyone's confusion.

Jolene just gave me a smug grin. "I'm smarter than I let on."

"If you went through medical school, do you think you can help Shiriyu?" Seiya asked, moving aside so we could see the Dragon Saint, who was holding his heavily bleeding arm.

"I can't guarantee anything, but I can take a look." Jolene moved to Shiriyu's side and carefully inspected his arm. I, not wanting to see any blood today, turned away. Shun came up and stood next to me on my right side.

"Are those chains real?" I asked, poking at the chains on his arms.

He smiled. "Yes. I can control them, but they have a mind of their own sometimes too." At that moment, the chains on his left arm curled around my right. "Like that. Sorry."

"It's fine. It's actually kinda cool!" I held up my hand and the chains followed. I giggled softly and I saw Shun give a silent sigh of relief, probably relieved that I wasn't too traumatized by the recent events. I felt the heat return to my cheeks as our eyes met and he looked away quickly.

"Okay, Shiriyu, it's gonna need stitches." I heard Jolene say behind me. "I got the string, but I don't have any way to numb your wound, so bite something hard."

"Here, he can use my hand wrappings."

"Thank you, Seiya." Shiriyu sounded grateful as I heard Seiya unwrap his hand.

"Well, what do we do now?" Ikki asked over Shiriyu's grunts of pain. "We can't go to another Kido estate with Sanctuary after Saori and now Yume."

"I know a place we can hide." Saori answered calmly. "Though it may be time for you boys to teach Yume a few things."

I glanced over my shoulder at her, since she wasn't in a place where I could possibly catch a glimpse of blood. "What?"

"Yeah, what?" Hyoga agreed as Shiriyu made a loud groan of pain. I had to guess Seiya was still near him for support, as he was the only one I didn't see besides Jolene and Shiriyu.

"Yume has Cosmo, so it would be in her best interest to learn how to control it." Saori turned to me. "Are you alright with that?"

"If it can possibly help me and take worry off of you guys for my safety, then yes." I answered without hesitation. "Besides, we have Jolene to worry about now too."

"I have a gun and a medical degree, mind you!" Jolene called back. I heard Seiya and Ikki snicker at her attitude.

"Very well, once we get to the secret location, it's your jobs to help Yume control her Cosmo."

"Yes ma'am."

"Whatever." Ikki muttered, glancing at me. I just blinked at him.

"Sure thing, Princess." Seiya answered, making me grin smugly at the little nickname.

"We can stop by my home on the way." Jolene offered, and I heard the noise of cloth being ripped. "There you go, Shiriyu. Try not to use it too much."

"Thank you."

"What do you mean, Jolene?" I asked, turning fully now that the stitching was over. I saw a part of her uniform was now ripped, which meant it was not Shiriyu's temporary bandages.

"I don't know if it's off trail or not, but I can get more supplies for us all. I'm sure my mothers will understand."

"Mothers?" Ikki asked, and Shun gave him a scolding look.

"Yes, I am the adopted child of a lesbian couple. You have a problem with it I will personally make sure you can no longer walk."

Everyone was silent for a moment before Seiya started laughing, followed shortly by curt chuckling from both Shiriyu and Hyoga. Tatsumi and Shun both looked like they were trying to hold back laughter. I just smiled.

"Very well, Jolene." Saori nodded to her staff-member-turned-comrade. "We can use your medical expertise, and we can stop if we near your home. Thank you."

"Thank you, ma'am."

"Ikki, lead the way. I'm sure it will be much easier for all of us if you melt the snow before we walk through it."

"Alright. Just as long as get going." Ikki said curtly before turning and walking forward, melting the snow with his fiery Cosmo as he went.

"Ladies first." Seiya gestured, supporting Shiriyu with his shoulder, so I guess the Chinese man lost a good amount of blood.

I found myself wondering if they were beating around the bush about feelings or if they were just that close...

"Thank you." Jolene followed Saori and Tatsumi onto the newly melted trail. The snowstorm had let up recently, so no new snow joined the last. I jogged to catch up to them, and joined in the single file line. I glanced back and saw Shun behind me, followed by Seiya and Shiriyu, and then Hyoga.

So the order was Ikki, Tatsumi, Saori, Jolene, me, Shun, Seiya supporting Shiriyu, and then Hyoga at the back.

"My aren't we an odd group!" I chirped, feeling embarrassed the moment it came from my mouth. It helped ease me when I heard the guys behind me chuckle, and Jolene giggle.

This was going to be hard, but these people stayed by my bedside during my coma even when they didn't know me, and are risking their lives to protect me.

It's only fair that I try as hard as them to survive.
