"Yume. Jolene."

"Fuck is it night already?" I groaned, opening my eyes to see Seiya gently shaking me and Jolene awake.

"Unfortunately." Seiya gave me a goofy grin and a gentle flick in the nose before standing. "C'mon, Miss Saori and Tatsumi say that we can make it to our new hideout by afternoon if we leave now."

"I don't know this for sure, but I'm pretty sure I was never a morning person." I grumbled as I slipped out from under the warm blanket. I heard a few chuckles from the others as we worked together to pack up and get going as soon as possible. Shiriyu helped Jolene get breakfast to everyone, which was just a muffin and an apple.

"Hey guys, do you know if I had any allergies?" I asked before I took a bite of the blueberry muffin and regretted it.

"Not specifically, but you should be fine with what you got. You had blueberry pancakes one morning with us, remember?" Hyoga answered as he passed me carrying blankets over to Jolene, who took it from him with a shared smile that lasted longer than what was considered a simple gesture. I just grinned and quickly ate before stuffing the remains into a plastic bag provided by Jolene's parents with everyone else's trash. I waited until everyone was done with their food and tied the top tight, stuffing it into a smaller pocket of my backpack.

"Everyone ready?" Miss Saori asked once Ikki and Hyoga worked together to stamp the fire out and scatter the remains to hide the fact we were ever here. Everyone nodded and we set out single file, the same order as yesterday... Yesternight?

The moonlight reflected off the snow beautifully tonight, and I looked up to see a clear sky and a full moon. How nice. Wish I could just fly up there in the clouds...

... Wait what?

I shook my head to clear it and kept walking. I don't have time to have another memory freak out right now.

"Okay, um, kiwi, and I add... Liver."

"Ew, Yume!"

"I'm sorry but that's all I could think about!" I spat at Jolene, who laughed.

"What about lima beans?" Seiya suggested, and I turned and leaned over to look at him and give him my best confused face.

"Seiya, what the fuck are lima beans?"

Shiriyu chuckled while Shun and Hyoga doubled over laughing. Seiya gave him a hurt look and the Dragon Saint just gave him a smile. Shiriyu was currently being carried on Seiya's back without his Cloth on. Others had offered to take him, but Seiya refused and said he was fine with watching over Shiriyu for now.

I am now thoroughly convinced that they are secretly dating or something...

Hi my Okami! Quick note!
I know that the 1986 version doesn't have this, but I like the newer idea of the Cloths (or Armor) being able to convert to those little dog tag forms for easy carrying. If any of you are wondering why the Saints aren't carrying those big boxes, that's just because they are either wearing their Cloths or they're just dog tags around their necks.
Okay, back to the story!

"Okay, Shun, you're turn!" I gave him a smile before turning back around. We were making good progress, according to Tatsumi. It was midmorning now and we were about three quarters of the way to the new hideout. I felt kinda bad, since Ikki was working harder than the rest of us, but he seemed just fine despite using his Cosmo for a good couple hours without stopping.

"Limes for L, and I'll add... Ah... Um..."

"Too late! You're out Shun!" Shun hung his head dramatically at Jolene's cry. I giggled and patted the helm of this Cloth, earning a small smile from him. I felt my face begin to heat up again, so I turned around.
