On the rescue, Colby was the only rescue so far.
There were two draft horses that Colby had also befriended.
Lilly and Lyric.
Lilly was a gorgeous Belgian and Lyric was a beautiful Clydesdale. They were the best of friends.
The two were inseparable. Being partners when it comes to carriage rides, winning shows while showing off how fancy them and their carriage is.
Lilly was 3 when she had gotten to the rescue and Lyric was two. Now, thriving and loving life to the fullest, at ages 6 and 7.

Not once was there a dull moment with the two beasts.
They loved every minute of their lives. With the exception of sickness, lameness and all other wonderful things that comes with being a four legged beast.
There was one day, though, at the rescue they got in three other drafts.
Two geldings and one mare.
A stubby, cute little black Fjord/Percheron mix, that Maggie had named Oscar, and two gorgeous looking Friesians, named Beauty and Beast.
Maggie sister, Ash had asked why not call Oscar, Beast instead, because he look more like a beast that the Friesian. But Maggie was already set on calling them what she thought would be the perfect names for them all.
Oscar would join Lilly and Lyric in carriage pulling, while Beauty and Beast, well they could just sit around and love life until it's figured out where they can be put to work.
Or just be horses that get to roll around all day.
Ash had decided to pair Lilly and Oscar together, so there could possibly an extra little worker in the future.
So, after a long while of waiting for a little foal or filly, Lilly had given birth to a healthy little filly girl, who everyone agreed on the name Jasmine.
Jasmine, Beauty and Beast were as close to the meaning of the definition of perfect as you could get. Jasmine rarely fussed, she was as happy as happy could be. Beauty and Beast couldn't have been more content with roaming the wide open field.
Lilly and Lyric were still the best of friends, and even when Jasmine was born, it was as if they were married. Inseparable from the filly, were always worried about her.
