For being such a young horse, there didn't seem to be much life in him.Yes, he was named after the God of Mischief from the Marvel comics. The name suited him perfectly.
Adopted.
Didn't fit in.
Wasn't sure what life had in store for him.
The one girl never wanted to give up on him. Came in at the same times every day, missing not one single day, except the odd one.
He eventually, after maybe four years, had warmed up to the young girl that came in everyday, who didn't miss a beat. Realizing, he didn't have to be afraid of her, so he decided to befriend her.
Hearing the door open one morning, he nickered, knowing it was her coming in, and turned to stick his head of the stall. Pleasantly surprised by this, she walked up to him, greeting him with as much excitement as he did.
She was cautious, thinking that this change in heart probably won't last forever, but she took it anyways. She took him out to the little pasture, just behind the door in his stall, letting him know that he could go outside if he wanted to.
He was terrified.
He had been kept inside, cooped up for the time he had been at the rescue, seeing the outdoors after so long was a surprise. She was patient. Letting him set the pace, seeing where he wanted to go, letting him look around, get used to the surrounding area.

It had taken months, but he finally got placed in with two other horses, who greeted him like an old friend. They instantly became best friends, never missing a heart beat playing, running, enjoying the fresh air of running wild.
He was everything but easy. He loved to be mischievous, no matter what the circumstance was. It didn't matter how young he was, what mattered was how much fun he had been having.
His favourite thing was following the girl around. He was interested in everything she did, having a need to know what it was.
Maggie always made sure to include him in everything she could, as much as she could.
They had made an amazing friendship and bond.
