Pyro's P.O.V.

I had to say that this was the most awkward breakfast I had ever had. My mother didn't seem to care. She was in her world, probably thinking about what kind of plants she should get for her garden. Ylva and Jesse were in their world as well, talking and laughing about the differences between his school and our old school.

Now, Tasha was the one that wanted Jesse's attention, trying anything to get him to glance at her. She was even doing the dropping her fork trick to her awl impression of her sneezing.

As for me, I was happy to watch all of them, as if I had a front-row seat to a play that was soon going to end badly.

"Can I be excused?" Tasha asked as she stood up, finally, get everyone's attention.

"But you hardly ate anything," my mother, looking at her plate, "are you ok?"

I notice Tasha look over at Ylva and Jesse for a brief second before nodding.

A few more moments pass before my mother gestures her to leave. She quickly grabbed her dishes and headed out of the dining room. My mother gave me a look then went back to her food.  She already knew what Tasha's problem was.

After breakfast, I decided to wash the dishes since I had nothing else to do. Unfortunately, Jesse wanted to help. It was his way of thanking my mother for breakfast. I rather have him pay and leave a tip, then be here helping me do dishes. Him being only a few feet away from me was like standing at the edge of a cliff.

"So, is your sister talking to anyone?" he asked, keeping his eyes focus on drying a plate. "I mean, I was just wondering."

"Right," I couldn't help but laugh, "of course you were."

"So?"

"How she could be talking to anyone when we just moved here yesterday." In the corner of my eye, I could see Jesse looking over at me, "Does that answer your question?"

He nodded and went back to drying the dishes.

"Your brothers did say you were the smart ass and rebel of the family," Jesse went on to say, "I guess they weren't lying about that."

"What can I say," I shrugged "It's truly a gift."

As soon as the dishes were done, Tasha came walking into the kitchen in a different outfit.  This time it was more reasonable than the one she first had on. She asked him what he was going to be doing once he leaves here.

From what I heard, he was going to hang with his friends for the rest of the day.

Tasha said that she would walk him to the door, and they were off.

I went off to find Ylva.

As I thought, she was in her room, going through her clothes. She always does this when she has something on her mind. I made my way to her bed and wait for her to start talking.

She let out a deep sigh.

"You know Monday is our first day at school?" Ylva said quietly.

"Yeah," I stretched out on her bed, "what about it?"

"I'm worried about the attention I'm going to be getting," she poked her head out from her closet, "and then there is Tasha."

"If there is anyone that deserves a little attention, it's you," I told her with a smile.

Suddenly the door flew open. Tasha rushed in, making her way over to me.

"Why you told Jesse that Ylva wolf is white," She snapped, placing her hands on her hips.

I stood up to be at eye level with the drama queen I had for a cousin.

"First off, no one told anyone anything." I told her, stepping closer to her, "and secondly, this doesn't concern you, Tasha."

She gave me a hard cold stare that could have killed me if looks could kill. She was jealous that Jesse wasn't paying her any attention.

"She's going to get attention because they think she has a white wolf!"  Tasha said, pointing over at Ylva, who just stood there quietly.

"And your point?" I couldn't help but shrugged, "it's not that be a deal."

"Tasha, I'm just helping out Pyro," Ylva said softly, walking over to where  Tasha and I were standing. "He's didn't want anyone finding out, so we planned it so everyone would think that I have a white wolf."

"Why it had to be her?" Tasha pouted as if she was a two-year-old.

"You know jealousy is not a good look on anybody,"  Ylva pointed out as she looks over at me  "Besides, it is about Pyro. Instead of whining about who is getting more attention, you should be asking what you can do to help."

Tasha acts like no guys going to go after her. She still a perfect candidate to find a hot guy or two.

"Plus, Ylva's ego is not as big as yours," I added with a smile.

"I don't have a big ego," Tasha gasped in disbelief.

"Yes, you do!"  I went on to say, "Saying you have a white wolf would be the icing on the cake."

Ylva and I filled Tasha in on our plan so she won't cause a scene in front of anyone that could cause suspensions.  We all knew how Tasha could get, doing things before thinking about it. I also told her that we have to keep this between us and make sure my father doesn't find out. It was already bad that our mother knows.

"Oh, one thing," Tasha look over at Ylva "Ylva, please send me some guys my way since they are going to be all over you now."

Ylva nodded, and we watched as Tasha left the room.

"It's going to be alright...right?" I asked Ylva.

Though we fully did our best to make Tasha understand the whole situation, it was Tasha we were dealing with, which make things more difficult. I had this bad feeling that it was going to be more to handle with Tasha in the knowing.

"Yeah, I think so," I could tell Ylva was also uneasy letting Tasha in our plan,  "just don't tell her much unless we agree on it."

"I agree on that."

After that, I went to my room to think everything through and to be alone. I couldn't shake this feeling I'm having about Tasha, she is a whole new situation in a situation that was already difficult.
