Rosé left in the morning to go to the hospital where Jisoo was. She has a photoshoot today again at 11 but she swore to herself that she'll be back by 9. Her manager would kill her if he found out that she went to Jisoo without his permission. Rosé sneakily went out of the door and unfortunately, she saw his manager waiting outside.
"And where do you think you're going, Ms. Park?" He crossed his arms.
"Um.. I.. um.."
"Don't worry, I'll let you go to Jisoo this morning but be sure to be back by 8."
"Aw, can't it be 9?" She complained.
"Nope. 8 o'clock. Be here before 8: 30, or there will be consequences."
"Fine, fine, I'll do it. Can you just please give me a ride?" She begged.
"Fine. But only this one time."
"You're not gonna let me do it again anyways." They walked to the car.
"Hmm, I guess you're right." They got in and he put the keys in and turned them. The engine started to run and they drifted off.
A few minutes later, they arrived at the hospital. Rosé thanked her manager and went in the hospital. She waved at the guard and went in, walking towards the elevator.
There was a person in there who seemed to be the assistor. She asked Rosé what floor and she told her 8. The assistor then pressed it and the doors closed as they went up. She waited for a couple of seconds and the door opened again. She thanked the lady and went on her way.
She started to look for room 527; the room where Jisoo was. Rosé prepared herself before going in Jisoo's room. Once she thought she was ready, she opened the door and saw Jisoo lying on the bed.
She walked inside and took a step in and closed the door. She walked towards Jisoo slowly. Rosé sat on the sofa since it was private room. She put her bag down and looked at Jisoo. She stood up and walked towards the bed. Rosé smiled slightly, knowing that she talk to her in silence.
"Hey. How've you been?" The younger held Jisoo's hand. Silence filled the room. All she could hear was the cardiac monitor, and Jisoo as she slowly breathes in and out.
"Hey. Aren't you proud? I woke up early. I got off my lazy butt for you." Rosé looked at Jisoo's face.
"You would always scold me if I woke up late didn't you?" She closed her eyes and smiled once again. A tear streamed down her face. Sure she was strong but she was still a girl. A weak girl in fact.
"Hey unnie... Wake up. You've been sleeping for a long time." More tears came down.
"Wake up. I..." She gripped the mattress.
"I like you." She finally said.
"I'd fight the world for you if that's what it means to keep you safe. I wanna be there at the times when you need comfort, when you need protection, when you need someone, when you need a friend... I'd gladly be there."
"I know it's only been a few weeks but it can't be helped. I like you too much and I can't risk losing you." Rosé laid her head on the bed.
"I know that you're not gonna hear this when you're in that state and you're not gonna remember this when you're awake but I'm prepared. And one day, I'll do it one more time. That I'll confess to you."
"Because I like you... Correction. It might be love already." Rosé looked at Jisoo and closed her eyes once more.
Suddenly, she felt something on her head. Curious to know what it was, she opened her eyes, only to see Jisoo's hand on her head. Rosé sat properly in tears while Jisoo looked away, blushing in joy and embarrassment.
"I-I like you too Rosé." Jisoo had been listening to Rosé all the time. It turns out that she was awake since last night but she just pretended that she still wasn't when Rosé came.
"I'll protect you to Rosé. I promise." Jisoo glanced at Rosé and looked away again. Rosé put her head on Jisoo's chest and started crying again. Not just because Jisoo confessed too, but Jisoo woke up also. Jisoo patted the younger's head while smiling.
Minutes later, Rosé called their manager to come here. In a hurry, their manager called Jennie and Lisa to get ready to go to the hospital.
About 15 minutes after Rosé made a call, they arrived at Jisoo's room. They were all so happy that Jisoo woke up. Rosé and Jisoo decided to keep their relationship a secret from them until it was time. While they did, the others ordered some food in celebration of Jisoo.
"Guys isn't this a bit too much? It's so many and I'm not allowed to drink any beer yet." Jisoo stated.
"Yeah and don't we have a photoshoot today?" Rosé asked their manager.
"Today got canceled because of an event. They'll resume tomorrow so let's party for a bit." Their manager suggested.
Is this the way he should act? Jisoo asked herself. The five enjoyed a great party the whole day. They replaced the beer with some iced tea instead so they were ok. Jennie though, preferred a hot cocoa since it was a bit chilly outside.
The five ate their food and talked all day about nonsense that they shouldn't be talking about. Then at night, they told horror stories.
Lisa told something about their horror story in Thailand and it was pretty scary. Jennie couldn't remember one so Rosé was next. While Rosé was storytelling, the manager told Jisoo something and Jisoo just nodded, smiling at what he said.
It was Jisoo's turn to tell and she just told Slenderman's story but in a different way. And finally, it was their manager's turn.
Their manager told a spooky story about a girl who saw someone. A creepy looking woman. The girl told her grandparents and hid her in her room, telling her not to open it at all costs. But there were times when she heard a knock on the door, the voice telling her to open it. She once tried to open it but she remembered her grandparents' word, so she didn't.
When her parents went to fetch her, they thought it would be over. So when they were going home, she heard it. She heard the voice. Then, Jisoo turned off the lights. All the three girls screamed while Jisoo and their manager was in laughter.
"Did you see their faces?! Oh what a scare!" Their manager laughed.
"I know right! We should do this more often!" She wiped her tear.
"Alright alright we get it now turn on the lights!" Jennie shouted while holding on to Lisa.
When Jisoo was trying to open it, she noticed something strange. The light wouldn't open!
"Uhm guys, the light won't turn on." Jisoo said, flicking it up and down again and again.
"What do you mean it won't?" Rosê walked up to the light and turned it on. The light went on as she sat back down again.
"Told you it would." Said Rosé.
"Uhm guys, where's the manager?" Lisa asked. The girls(except for Jisoo) looked around and noticed that their manager was gone.
"Hey where the heck is he?" Jennie asked. Jisoo turned off the lights again and the girls screamed once more. Then, Rosé felt a tap on her shoulder. She looked behind her but there was no one. The same goes to Jennie and Lisa.
"Uh what's happening?" Jennie asked. Then Jisoo turned on the lights and the three saw a man infront of them wearing a Jason mask.
"Boo." The man said. The girls screamed once more and Jisoo and the man laughed. The man then removed his mask and it was their manager. Jisoo and their manager laughed their hearts out while the other three were panting at the sofa.
"Y-you guys are so mean!" The three said together.
"Heh. Belated Happy Halloween!" Jisoo said while doing a peace sign, winking as she was sticking her tongue out.
