I still have time left before I go home. Jisoo thought. She decided to walk past her house towards the forest. Her parents saw her but they let her be since they knew that Jisoo knows the forest like the back of her hand.
She walked inside the forest and ran to where she saw a snow fox. Her parents always told her not to go to near snow foxes but she had a trick how to not get them attack you.
Just when the fox was going to attack her, she knelt on the snow and planted her face on the snow and covered herself with her coat and placed snow on her coat.
A few seconds later, something soft caressed her arm. She sat up and cuddled the fox. The fox lied down on her lap and slept. She pat the fox and sang a little song.
She heard this once song as a child. But the tone was so sweet that she remembered everything.

Jisoo started singing. She patted the fox on her lap again and closed her eyes, letting the snow fall down on her cheek.

Someone sang the next lyrics of the song. Jisoo suddenly opened her eyes. She put the fox down and stood up.
"Weep not poor children,

The person sang again. Jisoo started to walk to where the voice came from.

Jisoo sang. She looked for more and closed her eyes to concentrate.

The person sang. Jisoo walked forward following the gentle hums.

Jisoo sang again, they were nearing the end of the song and she hopes to find the person soon. As she was walking, she saw a figure to her left. She took a step back and saw a person sitting on a log near the cliffside facing the moon.
"Come little children,
The time's come to play.
Here in my garden of..."
The person sang. The song has a pause before saying the last word.
"Shadows." Jisoo sang. The person looked behind her and saw Jisoo next to a tree.
The person had ginger colored hair. She had fair skin and she had a leather coat on like Jisoo.
The snow fox suddenly sat on the person's lap and she was a startled. The person pat the fox and it seemed to like her.
"She likes you." Jisoo said. "Oh, she does?" The person asked. Jisoo nodded.
"So, um.. How do you know the song?" The two asked at the same time. They realized what had happened and turned away, blushing.
"I-its a christmas lullaby my mom used to sing to me." The person said. "Oh really? My mom used to sing it to me too." Jisoo sat next to the person.
"My name's Jisoo, what's yours?" Jisoo asked. The person hesitated for a while. But after a few seconds, she decided to trust Jisoo.
"Chaeyoung. But you can call me Rosé, or whatever you like." Chaeyoung said. Jisoo smiled and looked at the moon.
"Its quite pretty tonight, isn't it?" Jisoo said. "Yes, it is. It's the full moon tonight." Chaeyoung said.
"Full moon? What's that?" Jisoo asked. Villagers would not have enough education unlike nobles. They were only taught how to speak, to do basic math, and to do chores, so this is new for Jisoo.
"You don't know that? A full moon is when you can fully see the moon. It's really beautiful like you!" Chaeyoung said. The two suddenly blushed and left an akward silence between them.
"Um, so, where are you from? I haven't seen you in the village to you must be from out of town." Jisoo looked at Chaeyoung. Cheayoung didn't think she was gonna ask that question but Jisoo seemed like a good person so she decided to tell Jisoo. After explaining everything, Jisoo was left in shock.
"So, you're Lady Chaeyoung Park? Lord Mason Park's daughter who ran away?" Jisoo asked. Chaeyoung hoped that Jisoo wouldn't act like Jisoo was inferior to her."
"That's so cool! Why did you run away?!" Jisoo asked. Chaeyoung looked at her with confusion in her eyes
"Ran away? Is that what people think? Oh dear, that's not true at all. My parents told me I can explore the world when I wantes to. So last week, I left in secret and left a letter in my sleeping chamber. I told them I would be back in a few months of or years, just when I have to possibly take my father's place as an Earl." Chaeyoung said. Jisoo couldn't speak.
The whole village thought that the infamous Lady Chaeyoung Park ran away from her home but what a total lie. Lady Chaeyoung Park only had left in secret to explore the world.
"So what do I call you? Lady Park, Lady Chaeyoung or Lady Park Chaeyoung?" Jisoo asked. Chaeyoung shook her head. "Just Chaeyoung like I said earlier." She said.
Jisoo nodded her head. "So where are you off to next? You said you're going to travel the world aren't you?" Jisoo said, kicking the snow on her feet. Chaeyoung stayed silent. Jisoo looked at her.
"The truth is, I have nowhere to go. This is the first time I've been on my own. I heard there was a village nearby so I went here but then I got lost in the forest. Then I heard you singing the lullaby so I sang along till you found me." Chaeyoung said.
Silence.
"Say, Chaeyoung. Wanna stay with us?" Jisoo asked. Chaeyoung looked at her. "You still have nowhere to go. Plus I wanna explore the world too when I turn 18 next year. Let's go together shall we?" Jisoo smiled at Chaeyoung. The other blushed.
Jisoo held her hand. "What do you say?" Jisoo looked at Chaeyoung. Chaeyoung smiled. Even if they met for only a short time, she wants to stay with her.
She closed her eyes and smiled. "Of course!" She said. Jisoo hugged Chaeyoung. Jisoo opened her eyes and saw snow fall.
"Oh. It's snowing!" Jisoo said. The two broke their hug and laid their palm out, letting the snowflake fall on their hands.
"Jisoo, look!" Chaeyoubg said. Jisoo looked at her palm and saw a really big snowflake.
"Woah! That's so cool! In our village, there's a saying that if you catch a really big snowflake right after the snow starts to fall, something good is coming your way!" Jisoo said. "Really?" Chaeyoung looked at the snowflake and smiled.
"I think it already did." She said. The two fixed theirselves and went back to Jisoo's home, leaving the snow fox sleeping and the snowflake on the log they sat on, under the moon.
