Jennie - Her own instincts

The man panted and laughed. Rosé was mad and took a knife and pointed it to the man. Rosé made Jennie go behind her and Jennie was confused.

"Who are you." Rosé asked. "Woah calm down Rosé." Jennie said. Jennie walked towards the man.

"Unnie! Be careful! He might be someone dangerous!" Rosé said. "Huh? Dangerous? But this is Kai." Jennie said.

"Huh?" Rosé was confused. The man took off his mask and it was indeed Kai.

"Hey Rosé." He said.

"Kai?" Chaeyoung asked. She knows about Kai helping Jennie but she was curious how he got here.

"How did you know, Kai? That we were about to be killed?" Jennie asked. "What are you talking about, you know about it too. You even talked back to Sorn and I hit her in the head." Kai replied the three laughed.

"I gotta go and help the guys outside. You guys stay here and rest up." Kai said. The two nodded and Kai left their dorm.

"Heh, well that was an interesting conversation." Chaeyoung said. "I didn't think that the person would be Kai." Chaeyoung added.

Jennie smiled but then suddenly she fell on the floor.

"Unnie?!" Rosé caught her before she fell to the ground. "Are you okay?!" Rosé asked in a panic. She led her to the other sofa and let her sit down. Blood started dripping from her head and she coughed blood.

"We gotta get you to a hospital." Rosé said. She grabbed her phone and called an ambulance. Jennie stopped her, signaling it was fine. Rosé didn't listen and continued the call.

They could hear the police outside to arrest Sorn's accomplices. Kai went in the dorm a few minutes later to assist the girls. Rosé explained that Jennie needed to go to a hospital and Kai nodded.

He helped Jennie walk outside and they saw the ambulance. Jennie went inside along with Rosé. Kai stayed to take care of Jisoo.

Rosé and Jennie went to the hospital and Kai went back to the dorm to take care of Jisoo to see that she's sitting down.

Jisoo had noticed the male's presence and the atmosphere got silent. The female stood up, getting two glasses of water and giving one to Kai. "Here. You must be thirsty after all that fighting." She said.

Kai took the glass with a smile on his face, thanking the female. Jisoo sat back on the couch, drinking her water. "Oh, Rosé and Jennie went to the hospital by the way. Jennie coughed a lot of blood and we called an ambulance right away. She's with Rosè, so I'm here taking care of you." He said.

"Thank you, but I don't need to be taken care of. Its Jennie you need to keep an eye on. Knowing her, she'll come up with plans to escape the hospital and save Lisa by herself." Jisoo smiled.

"She would do anything to save her. Even if her life's on the line. No one can stop her, so please, if Jennie wants to go, accompany her." Jisoo said. Kai looked at Jisoo and he put down his glass of water, reaching for the doorknob.

"Hey Jisoo take care of yourself while we're gone. I'll make Rosé head back here." Kai said before leaving. Jisoo chuckled whilst taking care of her bruise.

"You can't go unnie!" Rosé yelled. Jennie continued to get up from the hospital bed. "You're badly injured and its not like you can save Lisa in that state!" Rosé stipped her.

"I still have to try! I can't just sit here waiting for them to save Lisa! I have to do something." Jennie got up from the bed and marched to the door. Blood was dripping again from her head and her left arm's cast was bugging her. Her broken ribs were aching yet she could still stand up.

Rosé was beginning to cry, seeing how miserable Jennie was. She wanted to stop her but she just couldn't overcome her unnie's resolve. Jennie slid to the floor, sobbing. "I just... want to be useful for once." She said. Kai suddenly opened the door, looking around for Jennie.

He found her on the floor and signaled Rosé to come out with him. "Jennie, stay here. I'm gonna talk to Rosé for a bit." Kai said. He helped her to the bed and the two walked out, giving Jennie some space.

The two walked a bit from Jennie's room until Kai stopped. "I'm going with Jennie to save Lisa."

"What? No! You know her state, she's in no shape to move!" Rosé protested. Kai reassured her nothing will happen to Jennie because she promised Jisoo that she'll accompany her.

"I'll make sure she's perfectly fine. I'll be with her till she finds Lisa, I promise." Kai said. Rosé held back her tears, she knows she can trust Kai but she just can't let her injured unnie go out there.

"..Ok... fine. If anything happens to her, you'll take responsibility. Got that?" Rosé punched Kai's chest lightly. "I got that." He said. They walked back to Jennie's room after Rosé calmed down. When they opened the door, Jennie was no where to be seen.

Only a note on her bed saying, "I'll be back."
