Lisa- Chained

I wake up with my arms in the air. The room I was in was dark. I move my hands yet I couldn't move them as far. I look up and see that I was in an enclosed room and my feet were chained to the wall. What happened?

I try to stand up yet my legs give up on me. My legs were numb. I couldn't move at all. Wait, where's Sorn? If I'm here, she must be here too. She's gotta be chained as well.

I try to remember the events of last night yet I couldn't. My head hurts from the rotten smell of this room. Where am I?

My body stiffened when I heard someone walking outside the room. A little slot at the base of the door opened and pushed in a plate of food.

"You awake?" Said a man. His voice was deep and I couldn't recognize it at all. "Eat. Young master will be coming soon." He said. Young master? Who's that?

"No questions. Just eat." He said. I look down at the food he gave. A sandwich and a glass of water. He expects me to be in shape with this food?

I sigh. I took the sandwich and slowly ate it. Ugh. Tastes like burnt lettuce. I sigh again as I finish the sandwich. I drank the water and spit it out.

"What is this? Is this sewage water?" I suddenly ask, wiping my mouth. "Good job figuring out. Now finish the meal so I can call Young master." He said. Ugh, how can I be in shape like this? I need to find Sorn and get out.

I drank the water which tastes so bad. How long am I gonna live like this? I gotta find a way to get out. After I drank half of the water, I pushed it back to the tiny little hole. The man took it and he closed the little slot.

"Wait for the master to be here." He said and walked away. Once he was gone, I tried my best to stand up. My legs were numb so all I could do was hang on to the wall. I walked around the room till I reached the door. I pushed it but it was locked.

Damn. I saw the little slot on the bottom on the floor so I crouched to reach it but I fell instead. I shouted in pain and rolled my body to the side. Tears were forming but I wiped them away. I focused on getting out of here. I faced the little slot and tried to open it.

I dragged it up and it was opened. I smiled in joy but shouted as someone stepped on it. It forced the slot to close and it crushed my fingers.

I screamed. The person kept pressing harder on the slot's cover, putting pressure on my fingers as well. She knelt to the slot as I saw their shoes.

"Now that's not nice. Trying to escape from your savior when I gave you freedom." They said. The voice was thin and seemed like it belonged to a woman.

"Freedom my ass... Who the fuck would call being chained and trapped inside a room, being fed with mold and sewage water, and not being able to get out, freedom?!" I yelled and pulled my fingers.

I failed as she put more pressure on it. I cried in pain again as tears fell down from my eyes. "Stop... Please.." I begged. She only laughed.

"You just talked back to your owner, and now you expect me to stop torturing you? What a naughty little person you are. You're lucky I love you." She said and removed her foot of the door of the slot.

I pulled back my fingers and cried silently. "If you do love me, how can could you do this to me? No one would do this to someone they love." I said. She laughed again.

"Oh little deary, you'll never know. But if you do answer this, I'll let you go." She said. "I'll do anything, just let me and Sorn go!" I shouted. She stopped for a second. She's not talking at all. Then she cackled.

"Aha.. haaa... What a good joke. I've never laughed that hard in a long time. Alright, I'll let you and Sorn go. Just answer me this." She said. I smiled. Only a question and we'll be free. I just need to answer this question.

How hard can the question be? I mean, I'm pretty sure I can answer it. "If you answer me, I'll let you and Sorn go." She said. Why does she keep emphasizing Sorn's name? Is there something with her?

"Just ask me the goddamn question already!" I said. I was getting impatient. But its not my fault considering that she always repeat the same thing. She laughed.

"Alright, alright." She said. This is it! I'll be going outside! "Become mine." She said. Huh?

"Abandon everything you know and love. Be my girlfriend and stay by my side. Let's move to another country and change our names. No one will know who we are. It'll be just you and me. Together." She said. "Now what do you say? Yes or no?" She said.

How can I abandon everything?! This is my life yet she's telling me to abandon it! My career, my friends, my family, and Jennie! And she's telling me to abandon it! Is she crazy?!

"I-"

"I'm sorry. That was sudden of me to ask your answer right away. Don't worry. I'll wait for your answer. You only have a month though." She said, cutting me off. A month?!

"Well, I have to go now, sweety. I have an appointment and 3. I'm going to have to go. The guards will give you food all the time. But then again, you'll only get better food once you become mine. And once we get married, that's when you'll get to live in with me." She said. "I have to go now. See you next time, deary."

She walked away, leaving me on the floor in tears. How can I live peacefully?
