"Laura May Lee. May I ask you why you brought a bloody hair straightener with you? We're going to Brazil for 6 DAYS, you ding dong! Not 6 years!"

The girl in front of me crunched her nose and shrugged.

"Hmm, I dunno Rem. MAYBE BECAUSE THERE ARE 5 SEX GODS TAKING THE SAME PLANE AS US" she exclaimed in a high pitched voice as if I'd just missed the most obvious point in the world.

I rolled my eyes, trying to hide a smile while folding a pair of black jeans in my suitcase.

"Sex Gods? You know, they're not that amazing. I've met them a couple of times before... They're actually quite boring." I noted, zipping up my suit case in one smooth motion. I never had problems with plane trips, mostly due to the fact that I travelled light.

"REM. Stop making this experience for me less exciting and help me like a proper best friend should" Demanded Laurie, tossing her thick blonde hair behind her shoulder. Well it's safe to say that she definitely wasn't born with my amazing skills. I squatted down, trying to pull at the zip.

"ARE YOU KEEPING AN ELEPHANT IN THERE?" I shouted, grunting as I tugged harder.

"Mr. Cuddles is special to me" The girl in front of me said in a small voice. I stopped what I was doing.

"You're fucking kidding me, right?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Hey, don't insult him! What did he ever do to you!" she protested, making me laugh.

"Oh Laurie" I shook my head, and as if on cue, the large purple suitcase miraculously closed itself.

"Come on, you sexy mofo, Let's go"  I laughed and threw on my leather jacket as we trotted out the door along with all our luggage.

The plane was due to board in five minutes now. Laurie was sitting next to me, a huge grin plastered on her face.

"OH MY GOD, Rem, I am sooo excited!" she squealed jumping up and down in her seat. I smiled warmly at her, before yawning. I didn't understand why people became so excited about meeting those boys. They were just like anyone else; chatty, obnoxious, ecocentric and a bit awkward. Just like the average human. Being their stylist's niece, i'd seen them before a gazillion of times. Laura on the other hand, hadn't.

"Calm down, Laurie" i laughed. "being so excited can't be healthy." I shared my words of wisdom, pointing my index finger up in the air.

"Easy for you to say! You're not even a fan!" Laurie nudged my shoulder and I laughed.

"I just don't like their music, that's all... Or their personalities... Or their looks" I finished and yawned again. I should've gone to bed earlier last night. Laurie smiled at me, but out of thin air, it suddenly vanished. I tilted my head, confused.

"uh... ? You alright there?"

Laurie's eyes widened and she replied by pointing to something behind me. I turned around and chuckled. Of course.

Five teenage boys were walking casually towards, engaged in a conversation together and dragging their Louis Viutton and Armani suitcases. You'd think they have people to do that for them. I turned around to face Laurie again, who had paled dramatically.

"Oh hi, Remie!" I heard a familiar voice behind me after a few seconds. I looked back to see Zayn smiling down at me.

"Don't call me that." I growled, gritting my teeth.

Zayn's expression lightened theatrically. "I'm so glad to see you too! And thanks, I did do something new to my hair!" he replied, smiling wildly.

"Cut the sarcasm, Malik." I stated morbidly. The boy looked slightly taken aback.
