Chapter 15

Katy was standing on the rod , fear was sparkling in her eyes. But a smile apears on her face when she think of her mother.

Her mother when she was taking care of her. When Katy also had a happy family. When she was also pampered. When she can do what she really wants and can enjoy every possible thing.

Katy was happy. Because now she can meet her father. Her daddy. The one who loves her the most.

Katy's grip of the feet on the rod loosened a little bit. She started loosing herself. Her feet on the rod started moving ahead.

She keeps looking in the sky. The deep starry sky , filled with loads of stars. One of them was his father's. Atleast that's what Katy believed.

She was about to jump suddenly a hand grabbed her waiste and pulled her down on the road.

"Katy what are you doing? Are you out of your mind ?". Shouted Ryan.

"Leave me alone ... I want to die , please leave me alone". Cried Katy as she tried pushing Ryan so that she can jump.

But Ryan pulled her and grab both of her hands and stopped her by back hugging her.

"Katy stop at once .. What are you doing ?". Shouted Ryan.

"Let me go pleaseee". Cried Katy. She kept on pushing Ryan and trying to jump in the water.

Abruptly Ryan grabbed her forearm and tightly hold her.

"KATY... STOP IT". He shouted.

Suddenly Katy stopped and started looking here and there. It looked like she just came into her senses. Ryan watched her angrily.

She was scanning the whole area with her alluring eyes. Tears were cascading down her cheeks. Ryan realized at once that she was not in her senses.

And when she started crying by covering her eyes , Ryan quickly pulled her into a hug. He caresses her head while giving her a beautiful moment of peace and relaxation.

Few moments later , When Katy pulled back she looked at Ryan with fear in her eyes.

"Was this Ryan the whole time ?? Oh no ! Did he witness me doing suicide??". Katy thought.

When Ryan realized that she is okay now and she can give answers so he asked.

"What were you doing ?".

Katy didn't looked at Ryan but answered him.

"I was just admiring the beauty of this place".

"Lie ... that's a lie". Said Ryan.

"No.. I'm telling the truth". Said Katy.

She avoided the eye contact and kept on looking down. Ryan noticed that.

"You know I can tell this to the police". Said Ryan. But it was clear that he was only scaring Katy so that she won't do that again.

But as soon as Katy heard the word police, she got all tensed up and gulped.

"You disappointed me a lot today Katy". Said Ryan.

Katy shook her head. Then she looked at Ryan.

"I'm sorry... I'm really sorry". She started crying again.

She started looking down. Obviously she had no words to defend herself. She was caught red handed. She just maintained her silence.

Then Ryan hold her hand.

"Katy I know , sometimes life is not supporting us. Sometimes we want to end this life.. but what we don't know is that , we can change our life when we have life , if not ... then how are you going to change it ?". Said Ryan.

Katy couldn't stop looking down.

"Don't waste this life , We all get it once only. Keep on living until the very last breath of yours. And remember that life doesn't stay the same... whether your life is going on perfectly fine or pathetically worse. It's going to be change at any time... any time". Ryan pronounce the last word very hardly.

Katy actually liked what Ryan just said. She smiled. Ryan smiled back.

"Thanks Ryan. I really like what you said". Said Katy and she sniffed.

"Now tell me what's wrong ?". Asked Ryan.

"Nothing .. I was just tensed and didn't know what to do with life". Replied Katy.

"What ?". Asked Ryan making a confused face.

"Yes .. that's it". Said katy.

"Ok but ... promise me something". Said Ryan coming closer to Katy.

Katy looked up to him. He was smiling.

"You won't do that again". He said.

Katy looked down and then at Ryan. Then she nod at him.

"No .. say it". He said.

"Yes.. I will not do it again". Said Katy.

"That's good. Take care... Bye". He said.

When Ryan left , Katy looked down at the water , smiled and then went away.

At Katy's house

Katy changed her clothes and laid on the bed. Trying to sleep. But that suicide thing kept on coming in her mind.

"I'm so sorry ... I will never do this again. I love my life". She mumbled. "Thanks Ryan".
