"Momo?!"
So this was why she came home late so often.
She looked incredible—her dancing was sharp, precise, and effortlessly fluid. I recognized the song immediately: Partition. She was wearing a sleeveless crop top and denim shorts. It wasn't nearly as scandalous as the perverts back at the table had made it out to be, but a single thought kept burning in my mind: Why on earth is she dancing in a place like this?
"Hey! Jeongyeon! You didn't even apologize for splashing milk all over my face," Jimin snapped, drawing me back to reality.
He was wiping his face with a napkin while Taehyung and Jackson laughed, offering him a few useless towels.
"Consider it punishment for your dirty thoughts," I said, my eyes still fixed on the stage. "And for acting like a brat when you already have a girlfriend."
"You have no right to lecture me when you can't even tear your eyes away from her," Jimin retorted. "I can literally see the bulge in your pants."
"I’m admiring her talent, not her body," I shot back, chuckling. "And as for my pants, they’re just tight. Don't be jealous just because mine is bigger than yours."
Jackson and Taehyung muffled their laughter, careful not to push Jimin over the edge. They had found out my secret by accident back in high school. I had been in a rush, the girls' restroom was completely full, and the boys' room seemed empty. But just as I started peeing, the three of them walked in together. Fortunately, we were close enough that they had kept my secret ever since.
"Bigger doesn't mean a thing when you've never experienced the heaven of life," Jimin said, throwing his hands up dramatically. By "heaven," he meant sex.
"Ooh, Park Jimin!" Taehyung and Jackson cheered, clapping with delight.
I smirked, holding his gaze. "I got your girlfriend’s first kiss." I hadn't wanted to bring it up, but he had started it.
Jimin sighed deeply. "Alright, alright, our dear 'Girl Crush.' You don't have to remind me."
"Believe me, I don't want to remember it either," I muttered softly. A quiet sadness settled over me as I recalled the moment that changed who I was—and cost me someone irreplaceable.
"Let's just forget it and have fun, guys," Jackson said, wrapping an arm around my shoulder to shift the mood.
"Don't worry, I am having fun," I lied effortlessly, forcing a grin. "Can't you tell? I can't take my eyes off the stage."
"You mean off her body, right?" Taehyung teased.
"The performance is over," Jackson noted with a hint of disappointment as the music faded.
I looked back at the stage just as Momo turned. For a split second, our eyes met. I looked away instantly, turning my back toward the bar to hide my face, praying she hadn't recognized me.
"Jeongyeon... what's wrong?" Jackson asked, studying me. "You look like you've just seen a ghost."
"Nothing. I'm fine," I said, glancing sideways to track her movements.
"Let's head back to the hotel room," Jackson announced cheerfully. "Jeongyeon, you're coming with us."
Thank goodness. I needed to get out of this place.
"Did we really come all the way here just to watch a dance routine?" I asked as we walked toward the exit.
"Honestly? Yeah," Taehyung admitted without a trace of shame.
