Logan POV
I flip the red velvet pancakes one last time before stacking the last one on a plate. I admire my handy work, excited about Violet's reaction when she wakes up. It's been a week since her parents kicked her out, she's been a bit static. I can see the sadness and anger in her eyes, every night she would feel so cold.
So I decided to make her breakfast in bed, I just want to see her smile again. Not a fake one either, a real genuine smile. With all her school work, Luna duties, and training. I make a small mountain of whip cream and some chopped strawberries on the side.
I pick up the tray walking slowly to not spill the hot chocolate all over the pancakes or me. I open the with my foot and place the food on her bedside. I smile at her peaceful figure, running my fingers on the tips of her curls.
I lean down and whisper in her ear, "It's time to get up love~"
She starts to moan a bit, my pants tighten a bit but I ignore it. She opens her eyes a bit, letting her eyes adjust to the morning light beaming through the window. I give her a loving smile and return it with a small one. She starts to sit up, without any hesitation, I kiss her. She quickly returns it. Once our lips part, I place the tray in front of her. Her eyes begin to sparkle a bit.
"This looks so good!"
She takes a bite and moans once again, then takes a sip of her hot cocoa. I watch as her shoulders hall, shes starting to relax. She puts down he mug and looks up at me, "I love you so much, Logan. I know I've haven't been the same since I got kicked out, lots on my mind and all the emotions that I bottled in are just making my head fuzzy."
She looks down at her hands, I take her tray and set it aside again. I lay down, pulling her close so she can listen to my soothing heartbeat.
"You know, they're really missing out. They have always been missing out, by leaving you they never got to see the beautiful, intelligent girl that I know and love. They never got to see your love for nature or nurture your heart of gold. And maybe they never will, but I know that when we have kids one day we will walk side by side with them. I know they'll have your heart of gold, your smile, your brains. They'll be a product of our love."
I hear her sniffle a bit, she looks up at me with tears threatening to fall. "Do you really mean it?"
I wipe her tears away before they could fall, "I mean every word, I'll love you to Pluto and back."
I lean down and give her a small peck on the forehead, afterward we continue to eat breakfast. We ended up feeding each other a bit and places our dishes in the sink.
"Oh! Morning you two!"
Mom walks in the kitchen before I could reply she gives me a big hug. "Hey sweetie, me and Xavion have been talking and we would like to meet your parents! How does that sound?!"
I mind link Dad to come to the kitchen as soon as possible, I then wrap my arm around Violet's waist already sensing a wave a gloom come over. She holds my hand and gives mom a sad smile.
"About that..."
Dad came in just in time, I look at them.
"I think we should sit down and talk about this in full detail. So we did explaining what happened, all leading to Violet reassuring us that she's doing fine. Some seconds pass with pure silence, Mom and Dad pull her in for a big hug. This shocked her, making her a bit hesitant at first. She returns the hug and starts to crumble in there warmth, soft cries fill the room.
Dad smiles, "This is your new home, so don't worry about them."
They let her go, she tries to wipe her tears away but they continue to fall. Mom touches her cheek, giving her a motherly smile. "Welcome to the family!"
She gives them a soft smile, "Thank you."
