Logan POV
I finish my last email to a nearby pack, warning them about the rouge attacks and asking for assistance. Violet and I have been drowning in work, trying to come up with the perfect plan when we face them again.
Violet has taken control of finding their base, on finding Flora. Some nights she would wake up crying, she constantly beats herself up for letting her slip away. I talk to mom about and she explained to me that a Luna is intuned with the members of the pack emotionally and spiritually. So knowing that she could have saved her is beating tearing her up. All I can do is hold her close and make her ease the pain.
Some days I let her sleep in, bringing her schoolwork so we can do it together before it's due. Other times she comes with me and stays close, completely last in a daze.
I can't help but frown when I think about it.
I close my laptop and exit my office.
Walking around I notice something from the corner of my eye, in the garden I see Violet sitting in the center of it all. She looks breathtaking in her white sleeves dress, I notice shes crossing out stuff on a map. She sighs as she plays with the end of her curls, I sneak up behind her. Grabbing her waist and lifting her up she yelps a bit. I place her on my lap, resting my head on the crook of her neck.
I give her a sweet butterfly kiss, making her giggle a bit.
I feel like I haven't her giggle in so long, "I love you~"
I can practically feel the small smile growing in her face, "I love you too."
I keep her close as I look down at the map in front of her. She sighs, "These are all the potential places Samantha and the other rouges are, well now were. I checked all of them out with some warriors but there was nothing there. Only a faded scent, but we're narrowing things down a bit. I just hope Flora's ok."
I hold out my hand, she places her marker in it and I gladly get to work. I start to circle some places, expressing some rumors of hidden passages. She looks at me with a different glow in her eyes. She pushes me down, landing her lips on mine.
I gladly accept, wrapping my arms around her waist, our lips part.
I chuckle a bit as she leans in and whispers in my ear, "Your the best~"
She then takes the map and runs off, I sit up feeling my friend down below reacting to our kiss.
"She can run but she can't hide."
