*Third Person POV*
[14 DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS]
In the city of Mustafu, Christmas spirit was overflowing.
Celebrations were exploding throughout the street, charity Santas rang their bells, and decorations covered every building along the streets.
Inside of every home and apartment building in the city, Christmas spirit was abound. There were Christmas trees in every home, awaiting the visit from Santa that would come in only two weeks.
A fresh snow now covered the streets, as a young, green-haired boy stepped out of his house and onto the street, clutching a letter and snuggling deeper into the neck of his parka.
"Deku!"
The green-haired boy turned to see a group of his friends walking towards him.
"Hey guys!" He said, waving, "How's it going?"
The group of friends stopped to chat for a while, before continuing down the street. Among them was the gravity-defying Ochaco, the speedster Iida, the live-wire Denki, the frog-girl Tsuyu, being carried by the octopus Shoji. Towards the back of the pack were the human torch Todoroki and the creation hero-in-training Momo.
Each was carrying a letter in their hand, each one addressed to the same location. As they got to the mailbox at the end of the street, they began to slide their letters through the slot.
"So, what did you guys ask for this year?" Ochaco asked, standing with Iida and Deku.
"Well, I asked for-"
"What the hell are you losers doing?"
Everyone turned to face the new voice, seeing Bakugo standing there with his hands in his pockets.
"Oh Bakugo," Ochaco responded, "We're just mailing our letters to Santa. Where's your letter?"
There was a moment of silence, as Bakugo looked around at each of the members of the group of U.A. students. Then he burst out into laughter.
"Hahahha," He laughed, "Oh god. Santa's not real, you idiots!"
The group broke into gasps and shouts, as Todoroki fainted into Momo's arms. The group watched with wide eyes, as Bakugo continued to laugh.
"B-but Bakugo," Deku said, stepping forward, "If he's not real, then who brings all the presents?"
"Oh my god!" Bakugo shouted, "You guys actually believe that it's not your parents!?"
"N-no way!" Ochaco yelled, angry tears forming in the corners of her eyes, "Our parents would never lie like that!"
"Alright then," Bakugo said with a smile, wiping a happy tear from his eye, "You guys believe whatever you want to believe. I can't wait to see your faces when you find out the truth."
He began to walk away, a new spring in his step. The rest of group turned to each other, the mood now soured.
"Come on guys, ribbit," Tsuyu said, poking her head out lazily from Shoji's arms, "We shouldn't let Bakugo ruin the mood, ribbit."
"She's right," Momo said, Todoroki now waking up and standing out of her arms, "Let's go get something to eat and we can talk about Christmas plans."
At the same time in the North Pole...
"It's okay buddy," Y/n Claus said, patting the side of the reindeer, "You'll be fine by tomorrow, and then you can get back to practicing with the others."
Comet let out a grunt in reply, turning to his caretaker. The reindeer had gotten sick not a day before practice flights began, and Y/n had taken it upon himself as reindeer caretaker to watch over him.
"Get some rest now, will you," Y/n ordered, "I'll be back in a few hours to make sure you're okay. You've got the bell right?"
Comet nodded along with his caretaker, showing more intelligence than a regular reindeer. He reached over and bit onto a nearby hanging string, pulling it and a bell was heard ringing.
"Yep, just give it a ring and the elves will be right over."
Y/n stepped out of the stable and shut it behind him, dropping the bar that locked the gate. He fixed his shirt and wiped the reindeer fur off of it, and grabbed his red and white furred jacket, similar to his father's, throwing it on.
"Watch over him," He told some nearby elves, "I'm gonna go check on the old man's flight."
Almost immediately after he said that, the loudspeaker on the wall began to blare its obnoxious tune. This must be serious, as the alarm was only every used under the most dire circumstances.
"WARNING! WARNING!" The alarm blared, "WE ARE UNDER CODE RED AND GREEN! I REPEAT, WE ARE UNDER CODE RED AND GREEN! ALL ELVES REPORT TO EMERGENCY POSITIONS!"
"Oh crap," Y/n said, "I've gotta get to flight command, now."
