*Y/n POV*
I placed my hand on Comet's back, stepping past him to view the hole in the fence line that Blitzen had gone through. Comet nudged back into my hand as I did, his muscles still tensed.
"It's okay buddy," I soothed him, "I'm gonna go check on him."
I slowly stepped past the busted fence and walked over to the reindeer that was laying in a heap in the snow. I slowly leaned down and placed my hand on his side, feeling his chest move up and down.
"Good," I said to no one, "Still breathing."
"Y/n!"
I turned around and saw Izuku running into the alley, still wearing my coat that was much too big for him. He ran past the busted fence, skidding to a stop with Ochaco at his side.
"Are you okay?" He shouted in concern.
"Shh," I quieted him, "I'm fine. It was just a little miscommunication. That's all."
At this point, Blitzen began to groan again. His hooves kicked out slightly and he looked up at me, fear in his eyes.
"Hey hey hey," I soothed, running my hand through his fur, "Calm down, calm down. It's fine, you're okay."
I noticed that his eyes were glued to Ochaco, who stood beside Izuku. I placed a hand on his neck and held my other out to Ochaco, urging her forward.
"Ochaco, come here," I said, sensing her nervousness, "It's okay, he won't hurt you. He's just scared."
She turned to Izuku, who nodded. She slowly turned back and steeled her nerves, walking over to beside me slowly. I directed her hand to where my hand was placed on his neck, as he flinched.
After stopping for a second to allow him to get used to her presence, before leading her hand again. She slowly placed her hand on his neck, feeling his fur on her hand.
He lowered his head back onto the snow, closing his eyes and letting out a contented grunt.
"Ochaco, Izuku, is that you?"
