Hey everybody, it's your friendly neighborhood Author Man!

What happened to the days I could write story in 10 chapters? This story is gonna go past Christmas.

Just like last year.

Please don't let this go past New Years again.

See ya in another life Brotha!

*Y/n POV*

I slowly opened my eyes, seeing the light of dawn starting to pour through the window. I was still leaned against Comet's stomach and his breathing was till even and soft.

I looked between the three reindeer, seeing that all of them were still asleep. I slowly stood up and stayed quiet as possible, as I walked off towards the kitchen area. There was a coffee maker and some cups, so I knew what I was doing this morning.

As the coffee finished pouring and I grabbed my mug, I noticed something on a table nearby. I filled my mug with pure black coffee and stepped around the table, grabbing the envelope that was there.

"What is this?" I asked no one, examining the completely blank envelope, "Who would send me a letter?"

I tore it open and pulled out the sheet of paper inside, which seemed to be wet and torn around the edges. Clearly an old piece of paper, evidenced by the yellow tint.

I unfolded it and began to read.

"Dear Y/n,

This is an emergency, code red and green. By the time this letter reaches you, I fear it'll be too late, but I must try.

I've been taken hostage by a group of

Crap, they're coming. Remember, a Claus' first duty is always to Christmas. Find the reindeer and take my place, don't try to find me.

Your father,

Santa Claus"

"Dad?" I mouthed, "He's in trouble. I knew that much, but where the hell is he? Who's got him? Is it the guy giving us the hints?"

I looked to the clock, seeing that it was still rather early in the morning. The sounds of the city were beginning to float up into my hotel room, but it was still early enough that the city should be easy to get around without trouble.

I threw my jacket on and downed my coffee, before turning to leave the room.

"Sorry Dad," I said to myself, "But we have 11 days and I'm definitely not taking your place this year. Time to go find Santa."

I stepped out the door and down the hall, headed for the elevators.

[Timeskip]

I stood by the side of the road, lost in my thoughts. I really had no plan as for where I would look for Dad, since the damn tracker doesn't work worth a shit.

I said we should put a GPS chip on the sled but no, that's ridiculous.

It was at that point, I noticed the screen above me on one of the buildings. It was some news report, which I wouldn't notice normally but this time it was something special. I report on the League of Villains, a group of villains who had been deep on the naughty list for a long time.

They had apparently been in hiding for a little while, before a note was given to the news company that seemed to be from them.

"This note," The reporter said, leaning into her microphone, "Seems to indicate that the League of Villains has some kind of disastrous plan that will take place on the 25th of December, Christmas Day. As Christmas is a very important day here in Mustafu, the police are on high alert and heroes are remaining vigilant for any sign of the famous group of villains."

A plan being set into motion on Christmas, huh? Oh yeah, that's suspicious.

I looked towards my watch and noticed the hand that was moving over 11, as it swapped over to the tracker. There was an option to find the person most lacking in Christmas Spirit, so I swapped it over to that option.

"Hold on Dad," I said to myself, "I'm on my way."
