*Y/n POV*
"Rudolph the red nosed reindeer," The shadowy figure mockingly sung, "Had some anger problems. And as people see him, they all run and hide."
I rolled my eyes at the terrible parody, completely out of tune and rhythm.
"Tick tock tick tock," He said, "There's not a lot of time left for you guys to find the old fat man. So here's your next clue: Two days time, follow the screams."
He waved at the screen, "Tata for now, heroes. I really do wish you the best."
The video cut to black, and we all looked between each other.
"Two days?" Ochaco said, "We don't have enough time to wait for that!"
"It would seem we don't have any choice," Iida replied, fixing his glasses, "And if we don't get home before our parents wake up, we'll be in a lot of trouble."
"But, the reindeer-" Izuku started to plea.
"He's right," I cut him off, noting that the sun was beginning to rise on the horizon, "You should all return home. We'll meet back here in two days time."
"Wait," Izuku said, "Whee are you going to stay?"
"No need to worry about that," I answered with a smirk, "I'm just gonna stop by the bank on my way into the city."
"Do you even have money?" Bakugo snarked.
"Some kids ask for money for Christmas," I shrugged, as I began to walk away, "We're always sure to have a bank account in every country."
With that, I left the kids on their own and walked into town, the three reindeer by my side.
[Timeskip]
After a stop at a bank and a unsurprisingly large security deposit, I stood in my massive hotel room. All three of the reindeer we had found so far were laying in the large main room, tired from the last couple of days.
I, on the other hand, was standing by the window and looking out at the city. I was trying in vain to see any signs of where Dad might have crashed or any signs of the remaining reindeer.
I knew it was pointless, but sitting around and doing nothing didn't feel good either right now. I just didn't find it in me to rest.
However, my body is about to shut down if I don't get any sleep, right now.
I may be immune to extreme cold, but f*ck if sleep deprivation won't kill me.
I turned back and walked over to the reindeer, finding Comet in the enter of the room. I sat down on the ground and leaned against his stomach, allowing the soft rise and fall of his breath to lull me into a deep sleep.
*Third Person POV*
As Y/n drifted off to sleep, a draft of cold air shot in through an open window. Bringing with it a waft of snow and an envelope.
The envelope slowly flowed along on the wind, flipping and curving and finally landing on the table nearby. It laid there and the wind died down, the window closing on its own.
