Breach

Minutes earlier at Beacon Academy

Dark landed silently on the campus grounds, the midnight air cool against his skin. He closed his eyes, extending his senses across the sleeping academy. Disappointment washed over him as he detected no awake students—everyone was deep in slumber after the dance.

For a moment, he considered waking Team JNPR, but the thought of disturbing their much-needed rest gave him pause. Instead, he pulled out his Scroll and recorded a voice message, his voice urgent but controlled.

"Hey, Jaune or whoever hears this," he began, keeping his tone low. "We need backup here as soon as possible. The White Fang has a train loaded with weapons and Paladins in the tunnels beneath Mountain Glenn. They're planning to breach Vale's defenses. If we don't stop them, the entire city will be overrun by Grimm and White Fang forces. This is critical—get here as fast as you can."

Ending the message, Dark launched himself into the sky, streaking toward the center of Vale where his team and Team RWBY were making their stand.

Central Vale

The scene was chaos incarnate. Team RWBY and Team DANY stood back-to-back, surrounded by a sea of Grimm. The massive King Taijitu reared above them, its twin heads roaring in unison, sending shivers through the night air. As the serpent Grimm's cry echoed, the smaller Grimm—Ursa, Beowolves, and Creeps—charged forward as one.

"Damn it, this isn't just our day!" Daniel shouted, his golden aura flaring as he transformed into Super Saiyan 2. With a burst of speed, he launched himself into the fray, energy blasts tearing through Grimm after Grimm.

The girls fought with practiced coordination, their weapons moving in deadly arcs. Yang's fists glowed with each strike, Weiss's ice Dust created barriers, Blake's ribbon sliced through enemies, and Ruby's scythe cut swaths through the advancing horde. The DANY team members fought beside them—Sleek's energy blades cutting down enemies, Shade's precise strikes finding weak points, and Blaze's overwhelming power clearing entire sections of the battlefield.

From above, Dark watched the desperate scene unfold. As a flock of Nevermores dove toward him, he vanished, reappearing instantly on the back of the largest bird. With a powerful heave, he threw it downward, crashing into a group of Beowolves below. The impact drew the attention of Team RWBY and DANY, who looked up in relief at their teammate's arrival.

Another Nevermore attempted a sneak attack from behind, but Dark simply raised one hand, gathering energy in his palm. "Enough of this," he muttered, firing a massive blast that disintegrated the entire flock in an instant. He landed gracefully beside his friends, his presence immediately shifting the battle's momentum.

"Nice of you to join us!" Sleek called out, dispatching an Ursa with a swift kick.

"Wouldn't miss the party," Dark replied, his eyes scanning the battlefield.

Suddenly, a familiar voice cut through the chaos.

"NORA... SMASH!!!"

All eyes turned as Nora Valkyrie came hurtling through the air, riding Magnhild like a rocket. She crashed down on the King Taijitu's central body, her hammer delivering a devastating blow that weakened the massive Grimm.

"Now, Blaze!" Nora shouted, rolling clear.

Blaze stepped forward, his hands cupped at his side. "KAMEHAMEHA!" A brilliant blue beam of energy erupted from his palms, striking the weakened serpent Grimm. The King Taijitu disintegrated completely under the assault, its roar cut short.

Two more figures arrived, flashing junior detective badges.

"Nobody move! Junior Detectives!" Sun Wukong announced dramatically.

Neptune Vasilias struck a pose beside him. "We have badges, so you know it's official!"

They fist-bumped triumphantly, but their moment was interrupted as Atlas airships arrived overhead. The cargo doors opened, deploying dozens of Atlesian Knights who jumped down, weapons ready. The robots moved with military precision, quickly clearing out the remaining Grimm in the area.

As the battle continued, Daniel and Dark noticed Glynda Goodwitch striding purposefully toward the massive breach in the city's defenses—the hole where the train had emerged. Her riding crop glowed with power as she prepared to seal the opening.

Daniel flew over to her. "Need some help?"

Glynda glanced at him, a rare smile touching her lips. "Thank you, young man. Also, nice hairstyle."

Daniel blinked, then realized he was still in his Super Saiyan 2 form. A faint blush colored his cheeks as he powered down to his base state. "Sorry, force of habit."

Together, they focused their powers on the breach. Glynda's telekinetic aura intertwined with Daniel's energy as they worked to seal the opening. Dust and debris rose into the air, slowly but surely closing the gap. After several intense minutes, the breach was completely sealed, cutting off the flow of Grimm into the city.

With the source of the invasion contained, the students and Atlas forces made quick work of the remaining Grimm. The battle was won.

Dark threw his arms up in triumph. "Wohoo! We did it!"

Weiss hugged his arm, a proud smile on her face. "You're right."

Daniel looked around at the assembled teams, gratitude evident in his expression. "Thank you all for your help."

Jaune Arc stepped forward, scratching the back of his head. "It's nothing. Besides, we're all Huntsmen and Huntresses."

"Not yet," Pyrrha corrected gently.

"Nah, I get what he's saying," Blaze interjected. "Most importantly, good job everyone!"

A cheer rose from the exhausted but victorious students. They had faced overwhelming odds and emerged triumphant, protecting the people of Vale from certain destruction.

As the celebration continued, Daniel noticed something in the distance—a figure watching from a rooftop, barely visible in the moonlight. By the time he focused, the figure was gone. He shook off the feeling, turning back to his friends and the hard-won peace they had secured.

The breach was sealed, the immediate threat neutralized, but Daniel couldn't shake the feeling that this was only the beginning of something much larger.
