3rd Person P.O.V- An ornate box lays tipped over on the floor with it's key tossed beside it. Countless papers filled with elegant script is strewn about along with little trinkets, medical and government documents.

Nick- Rob and I walked across the street to get the girls some lunch, getting back to our shared room I find Briar sitting on the floor clutching a medical document. "Oh, no."

Katrina- I watched the girl bring out the hidden box and go through it, but I wasn't prepared for the breakdown she had and just watched, making sure she didn't physically harm herself. "Took you guys long enough."

Rob- I carefully make my way around the important papers and set the food on the table. "We were literally gone twenty minutes, if that, what happened?"

Katrina- (Shrugs) "She must have brought it from home."

Nick- Kneeling down within her line of sight. "Baby?"

Briar- (Glares) "When were you gonna tell me?"

Nick- (Sighs Heavily) Sitting down across from her as I begin to sort out the mess she's made. "I was gonna tell you when the time was right."

Briar- (Unamused) I hold up the document in my hand;

'Birth Certificate

Mother; Nicklaus Joseph Groff-Bagans

Father; Zachary Alexander Bagans

Child; Briar Alexia Groff-Bagans

D.O.B; March 16th'

(Growls) "When were you gonna tell me that you're not my father but my mother and that my father is the leader of a widely known paranormal show himself!"

Nick- (Sighs) I finish sorting through the mess and glance up at the document dangling between her fingers. "I never told you..." Pausing to take a deep breath, before letting it out. "It is easier being the bad guy, knowing that what we've done doesn't just protect us but protects you. That is why. It was your father who came up with this elaborate plan to keep us at a safe distance until you were old enough to truly understand what we did and why we did it."

Briar- Handing him the document to put with the others. "What was so bad that you and dad did?"

Nick- She seemed genuinely interested. "Not bad, just taboo." Picking up her mess, I put everything back into the box. (Sighs) I glance over at Rob and Kat who I've told bits and pieces of the truth too. "Get over here, the both of you and bring our food." I close up the box and re-lock it.

Katrina- We didn't have to be told twice.

Rob- We get their food and our own, sitting down comfortably on the floor.

Katrina- "Are we finally getting the whole story?"

Briar- Looking between them all, rather confused. "What story?"

Nick- Swallowing the bite of my sandwich. "Mine and your father's story, the story you need to know." I take a sip of my water. "Zak and I met when he was a wedding dj as I was engaged to be married to my ex-wife Veronique."

Briar- "Your BI?"

Nick- (Rolls Eyes) "Yes, I'm Bi-Sexual." I quickly get back on topic. "We started seeing each other two weeks before I was to get married and it continued after. Veronique and I were married six years and have two little girls."

Briar- "I HAVE SISTERS?!"

Nick- Seeing the flash of hurt and betrayal in her eyes. "Half sisters." I quickly get back on topic and continue before she can interrupt again. "Vee was actually seeing someone else and wanted a divorce. I granted her wish, but she has custody of the girls."

Briar- (Frowns) "Do you get to see them?"

Nick- (Smiles Faintly) "On the weekends. It's shocking really, Annabelle is four years older than you and Chloe is a year older." The look on my daughters face is priceless. (Chuckles) "Sorry, hunny but you are the baby of the family."

Rob- If looks could kill, Nick would be dead. (Chuckles)

Katrina- Briar definitely took after her daddy, with her attitude. (Giggles)

Briar- (Rolls Eyes) I quickly change the subject. "Was yours and dads relationship always secret?"

Nick- I think for a few moments. (Nods) "Mine and your father's relationship has always been secret and the night we bonded it was no different. It was just the two of us and Lady Snake."

Briar- Picking up the only thing that wasn't packed away in the box. "Will I ever meet my father?"

Nick- Seeing Briar twirl a black rose between her fingers, I suddenly realize I didn't pack everything away into the box. (Sighs Softly and Smiles) "Someday, sweet Princess. Someday."
