Los Angeles. This story starts in an average household somewhere in Los Angeles, California. The protagonist? Well, her name is Aya, Kimura Aya. Biography, 17 years of age, born in Japan but is raised in the States. Insecurity? Maybe her height? She's just 152 centimeters in height but she doesn't hate it. She sees herself as an average person with average looks. She came from a broken family. Her dad left her mom for another woman when she was young. She's used to being alone since her mom's always traveling for work, she leaves for about two-three weeks and comes back for one to two weeks. Because of this, she became an introvert but doesn't mind socializing when she has to. She always locks herself in her room when alone at home and does what she does best: fangirl her favorite Japanese artists.

"Tadaima," Aya sighed as she entered her house. Even though she always say tadaima when coming home even though she's alone, she knows that her mom's home this time. How? There's a bunch of luggages by the entrance of the house.

"Mom?" she didn't need to look around, she can smell something cooking and went straight to the kitchen, "Hey,"

Her mom, Kimura Jun, turned to her and smiled, "Hello sweety, give me a big hug,"

Aya smiled back, walked to her mom and embraced her as tight as she can, "I missed you, you're back early,"

"Yes, cause I came to pick you up,"

"Me? Why? Are we touring somewhere?"

"Tour? Not quite, we're going to move to Japan,"

"EH?!?!?!?!"

"I know you've always wanted to live in Japan right? So... the past few weeks, I took care of everything so yeah,"

"OMG Mom! Thank you so much! I need to pack up now right?"

"Well..." Jun held her daughter's hands, "there's something I need to tell you first..."

Aya looked at her mom. The serious look on her mom's face made her swallow a huge amount of saliva, "W-what is it mom...?"

Jun let herself and Aya sit by the dining table and smiled at her daughter, "This will be a bit all of a sudden but... I... am getting married,"

"M-married...?" Aya echoed.

"Yes... That's why we're moving to Japan... I want you to get to know the man I will marry, he's an old university friend of mine her in LA... we were actually sweethearts before until he had to move to Japan... it didn't work out, our long distance relationship, untl we..."

"Met your respective spouses?"

"Yes.. then we're now both divorced, I met him again in one of my business trips in Japan and kept in touch, found out we still have feelings for each other... and the rest is history,"

"Well... I have nothing against you re-marrying, you definitely deserve all the happiness in this world... BUT! I need to know him as well first," Aya smiled at her mom.

"Don't worry, he'll be picking us up when we get there, don't worry sweety... anyway, go pack your things, just bring whatever's necessary, we'll have your grandma pack all others and send it to Japan once we're all settled there,"

"Ok, got it!" Aya quickly went to her room to start packing. She looked around her room and carefully removed all her JE posters, and most of them.. Lewis Jesse's posters. She rolled them into the poster tubes she had in her room, carefully stuffing five posters in each.
