Chapter 10: Safety

Saturday. It was four in the morning and Jesse was preparing for work. He knocked at Aya's door since she told him to wake her up, but no one was responding. He knocked again, worried that something might have happened, "Aya?"

Then he heard her respond from downstairs, "I'm down here, preparing your food,"

"Oh," he rushed downstairs to see her wearing a cute pink apron he bought the other day for her, "you're wearing it,"

"Cause you bought it for me, of course, it'd be a waste not to,"

"And you're early,"

"Cause I thought last night, if you wake me up just before you leave, then you'll skip breakfast again, so I woke up earlier to make at least toast for you,"

"Aw," Jesse smiled and sat down, "so sweet,"

"Of course, do you need coffee?" Aya placed a plate on the table.

Jesse shook his head, "Naa, I'll be fine," he took one toast and bit, "are you going to sleep before leaving?"

Aya nodded, "Yeah, we need to be there by 11, so you'll only miss at least one hour of the fun, you should bring the others too,"

Jesse thought first then nodded, "Yeah, I can probably do that, but tell Mari and Erika not to flail okay?" then he chuckled.

"I'm sure they won't they're already used to you anyway, so five more celebrities won't be a big deal,"

After eating his breakfast, Jesse big a temporary goodbye to Aya, planting a kiss on her forehead and left for work. Aya then went back to her room to resume sleeping. She was woken up later then by her alarm clock. It was already nine in the morning, so she started preparing for her group activity later. As she was preparing, she received texts from Mari and Erika that they will not be able to come due to various reasons. She replied to them saying that she understood. At 10, she left home for Disneyland, making sure she won't be late.

When she arrived in front of Disneyland, no one was still there yet, so she took the liberty of taking some pictures from where she was standing. Since it was Saturday, there were lots of people and Aya liked it because lots of people meant lots of moments to capture. Her mini shoot was interrupted when Shiba arrived.

"Yo!" he greeted her, "Where's Mari? Erika?"

"Well, they cannot come, so it's just us," Aya replied.

"Oh, isn't this like a date then?"

Aya laughed, "Baka, club activity, not date, come on, let's go inside,"

Once inside, they took a map to decide where they wanted to go first. They decided to go to the Tomorrowland area first. Since the Monster Inc. Ride and Go Seek was the neareast, they went to check it out first. But once inside, they found out that they weren't allowed to take picture nor videos inside, so they just decided to enjoy the ride.

The car for the ride was small and only three people can fit in. For Shiba, it was just right, he can be close to Aya. He also placed his hand on Aya's shoulder, nervous that Aya might get mad, but Aya didn't seem to mind as she was enjoying the ride.

For the next hour and a half, the two just walked around Disneyland, taking pictures of the attractions and people. They would sometimes try the rides they thought were interesting. Shiba, seriously felt like it was a date, holding Aya's hand every now and then as they walk but Aya would take it back when she'll need it for taking pictures.

"Shiba-kun! I wanna go there!" Aya pointed at the Pirates of the Caribbean building, wanting to take her hand back but Shiba won't let her, "Shiba-kun?"
